The E3P has been a solid and forgiving printer for me as I ve learned how to design and make 3d prints in both PLA and PETG My skills are quickly developing and I think the Ender deserves some credit for that The entry price is low about 230 to get started these days due to recent price cuts The one thing that the Ender 3 Pro gets -really- wrong is the mini-USB jack as it has become difficult to procure mini-USB cables I can understand why this device hasn t moved to USB-C but it should at least be changed to a micro-usb connector You can expect to do a lot of fiddling over a few days to get the printer dialed in just right It s very likely that several screws on the Ender will be loose Experienced hobbyists wouldn t have trouble identifying these issues but it can be a challenge for new people It s a part of the learning process and you ll understand your printer well by the time you get good prints One other place where the Ender 3 Pro falls flat is with the press-fit gearing for the belt drives on the X and Y axis I hadn t realized that they had taken this short cut until after I had purchased stepper motor dampers and realized that the drives have been press-fit onto the stepper motors This disappointing for two reasons Firstly this makes installing motor dampers impossible Second I believe this probably makes replacing the stepper motors themselves in the event of failure also impossible I m not sure how many pennies they saved with this decision but it certainly devalues the printer

Creality products in general tend to be
Creality products in general tend to be buggy and this particular 3D printer was no exception I bought two of these CR 10 max to add to our fleet one of which was fine and continues to function adequately after belt tightening and re- torquing literally every Fastener on every pre assembled piece Mech Solutions out of Toronto are the agent for Creality and they have been very elusive not responding to any emails or phone messages in regard to resolving questions about the second CR 10 Max This is unfortunate as I feel basically Creality has a good consumer semi commercial grade 3D printer in the CR 10 Max Additionally we forwarded a request to purchase 6 additional larger printers from Mech Solutions and despite having stock at the time our request remains un-responded to In all fairness to Mech Solutions as we own quite a few Creality products 10 up to present we have experienced very adequate service occasionally but it is very spotty and occasionally things are promised that never materialize Our fleet of printers now includes 3 CR 10 S Pros 3 CR 10 S Pro V2 2 CR 10 Max 2 CR X dual extruder Printers2 Dremel 3D20 Printers 2 Dremel 3D45 Printers In closing I should say as stated earlier Creality products have great potential however better attention to quality control and more conscientious support from their North American Agent would go along way to brightening up this review

Does not honor warranty
I purchased 5 Creality machines to use at work 2 ender 3 s 2 CR-10 Max and 1 LD-002R At the end of March the Heated Bed power supply for one of our CR-10 max s stopped working I provided the company with all the info they needed for a warranty replacement It has been 4 months and i still have not received a replacement DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS VENDOR if you are using it for business and or value any sort of warranty We will be paying out of pocket to replace a power supply 180 plus shipping on a 1000 machine that only worked for 3 weeks Update Part arrived express DHL yesterday While i consider this grievance resolved i should have arrived months ago I hope that they have reviewed their protocol so that this doesn t happen to others in the future My rating was revised from a 1 to a 3 considering they did eventually resolve the situation

Needs a bit pressure but eventually it gets done
The lead time is not as expected when ordering From a few days expectation it became more than a month In stock Australia turned out to be false We ordered 5 CR10S and eventually 4 showed up from China through Australia Post After insistence and use of Trustpilot Creality3D reacted and wanted to reimburse us We explained that this would not solve our problem which was time sensitive to deliver PPEs to local hospitals COVID-19 Although we did not get an answer eventually a 5th CR10S showed up a few weeks later than the initial 4 The product is great but the service is lacking response or is very slow They over promise and count on patience of customers This is a reseller not the Creality manufacturer My rating is on the service alone not the product

Ender 5 Plus ordered I hope
Well I ordered an Ender 5 Plus from Creality3D shop back on the 4th of April and it did say on the site that it would not ship until May 14th However I was unaware that this was not the official Creality store when I ordered shame on me for not doing my research I have debated contacting PayPal and canceling my order but instead I have messaged the Creality3d shop customer service and I am just waiting to see what their response is I hope I do get the Ender 5 Plus that I ordered because I have already ordered several upgrades for the unit already including the silent motherboard from the official store Will see how it goes

Ordered US to ship april 30th just
Update I did eventually receive the printer but it didn t ship until I filed a complaint with paypal Reading other reviews this is a trend with the company I attempted contact several times and only recieved an email saying that they werent answering emails because they were getting too many emails Seriously However in the end I DID recieve the printer and Ender s quality still stands out over other manufacturers so i updated to 3 stars I bought this one because I love my first one

Good experience with printer order bad experience with accessories
I will admit like I see a lot of people here speak I did find the website branding and placement on google a bit deceptive where I thought I was purchasing from the legitimate Creality website Placing that aside as it does seem like they are a legitimate reseller I m not going to focus on that The order placement was smooth and they did quote that it would arrive within 3-7 business days when ordering which was acceptible to me as I couldn t find a good Amazon prime legitimate reseller at the time I placed my order on a Sunday and my order as it was in stock in the US warehouse shipped out the next day I did successfully receive it the following Friday with no issue and am now printing on my Ender 3 V2 The only thing I didn t enjoy was that they used OnTrac for shipping to me and that company doesn t track packages well with my package being only scanned in at the Commerce CA facility then being delayed by an event from it s original arrival date of Wednesday After 2 days of delays I did reach out to Creality3d shop support to see if they could provide more detail for me on where it is at They responded promptly and opened up and inquiry with OnTrack May have been coincidental but shortly after that my package magically arrive in Tacoma WA and 2 hours later was out for delivery I would say the experience with the company directly including the support has been a positive experience and wouldn t change who I bought my first 3D printer from Edited Review Decreased stars to 3 At the same time I ordered a pack of assorted nozzles from this vendor assuming the accessories from an approved reseller would be good quality but found out I was wrong They have no way of telling you if any of the accessories are in the US warehouse and in all honesty they note this on the website so assume it all ships out from the warehouse in Chine This didn t bother me too much I wanted some replacement 4mm and some 2mm nozzles for my printer so was excited to get it It did take over 30 days to make it s way over to me I finally received it and was packaged nicely it came in 3 sealed packages with 5 nozzles in each package My assumption is that each package is a different size Now this is when we start getting to my issue with the accessories The 15pc nozzle pack clearly shows pictures of engraved nozzle tips where the nozzle size is engraved on the side of the nozzle for easy size identification This was not the case in fact there was no size identification on the packaging either so I couldn t label them myself in anyway So now I have 15 useless brass nozzles to me and the product in no way meets what I bought and was advertised Customer service was very underwhelming here telling me that quality assurance must have missed it and they can only give me a 2 dollar credit for a 15 99 product or I can send it back at my cost for a return I ve even tried to eyeball it with a different set I ended up buying from Amazon which was engraved but the nozzle style was different and it was had to match up the sizing of the nozzle hole Wrote it off as a loss and tossed them in the trash Be wary of buying accessories from this vendor don t trust the pictures they show
