Dissappointed but problem solved

I was really dissappointed Received email informing me my glasses were ready today Went to the Covent Garden store to collect Tried glasses on and they appeared great however it was soon discovered that there was a scratch on the glass so they now have to be remade Clearly an issue with quality control prior to being despatched to store Sam in customer services was super helpful however the timeline for receiving repacement glasses was not speedy therefore i went to the store and cancelled order I decided to buy the same frames which i will have made up elsewhere A full refund has been promised Will update review on how long refund takes

Eye test nice and relaxed but not cheap

I visited Cubitts for an eye test which involved paying extra for an OCT scan Compared to the opticians I normally visit the tests were at a relaxed pace as the whole procedure took about an hour The consultation included any observations found on the OCT scan of my eyes which revealed a problem or two The optometrist has asked me to follow up a problem which could be a family related condition by consulting my sister and reporting back to the optometrist for a possible referral Would I receive this attention from other places I am not sure The price for everything was 65 which is more than most opticians charge but I would say is worth it because of the slightly longer time taken for all the tests I know Cubitts used to offer a discount on their frames if you visited them for an eye test It would be nice to bring that back of course

Great service and value for money

Luke at Cubitts Edinburgh was attentive and professional He explained every part of my very comprehensive eye examination He and is colleagues took their time letting me try on different designs of spectacles and gave great advice on types of lenses I bought two pairs of glasses 1 sun glasses and 1 varifocals I will be going back soon to buy single lenses for my craft work I highly recommend Cubitts for service and price

Magnificent frames

Magnificent frames Just the best there is Have three pairs and love them all Best thing is the quality Forget the marketing ploys and designer names as having tried and tested fallen for these offers they re a false economy as the quality is pants Cubits are solid never break and as some who only needs specs for reading close up work taking splinters out of child s hand yesterdays task they can handle being put on and off my face several times a day Love them Replacement lenses are a little on the x side is my only comment

Kyrene provided excellent support

Kyrene provided excellent support I was surprised that Cubitts would have service on a Saturday a real person solving issues that the website was having regarding produce inventory and allowing me to pay She solved every issue communicated back to me via email and phone calls She was outstanding and I hope you recognise her for her customer service and focus

Customer service at it s best

Apart from having great glasses the service at this place is impeccable It just feels like they all love their job despite how annoying i am asking to try on 100 pairs of glasses Special shout out to their underrated optometry services and Dipa in particular I seriously think she s going to be my optometrist for life

An exceptional company

From start to finish I have had an excellent experience with Cubitts in Covent Garden - intelligent personable helpful and welcoming in store with a lovely atmosphere I was given honest advice which I appreciated My eye test was easy to book in and also at a very high standard above and beyond what I have ever had before As I live outside of London my glasses were sent to me free of charge and came in a matter of days Plus they are beautiful and it is normally very hard to get glasses that suit me I love that fact that Cubitts are also a B Corp and Living Wage employer - you can really feel that the staff are happy and it is a cohesive and ethical business All my family now plan to get their glasses from there An exceptional company thank you

Skilled opticians

Skilled opticians I wanted to share my experience at the Cheapside store The way they guided me about the frame size was a great experience During collection of my glasses they ensured the frame fit was comfortable and adjusted it without ruining its temple symmetry I have used a lot of acetate and plastic frames in the past from the big brand optical stores most of them ruined the temple symmetry when asked to adjust the frame and they will lecture you to make the lens thinner with no knowledge of frame size and fit I was always told by other opticians that my ears are not at the same level hence frame shape will not be balanced The optician at Cubitts store never asked me to give a review but they deserve a great rating as they proactively checked the fit and shaped the frame Thanks

Excellent quality and customer service

Little story on my way to work a few days ago my sunglasses in its metal case fell out of my bag and was run over by a car The sunglasses came out of the case but amazingly the case and sunglasses were both perfectly fine Plus I went to my local Cubitts a few months ago as a screw came loose They replaced the screw tightened it and gave me a new bottle of cleaning spray all completely free

The range is brilliant and the price

The range is brilliant and the price just right I moved from C G some time back and the Cubitts range and value is just right I have never been to a store everything fine online and in great time If something goes a bit wrong they correct it immediately Great products great service just great
