Tim Andy were extremely helpful They thoroughly inspected the building and explained all of their findings and what remedial actions needed to be taken Their report was also very thorough and provided helpful advice on the products required to address the problems They went out of their way to fit me in at very short notice

Having had excellent advice from Paul in 2020 we contacted him again about another damp issue He put a lot of time and effort asking the right questions into finding out what might be the cause We haven t yet employed our builder to hopefully rectify the problem but feel a lot more confident going down the route that Paul suggested Hopefully saved us from having to employ expensive damp course companies who took little interest in delving deeper than they needed to

What a relief to have finally found a company who provide such an excellent service We contacted Damp Detectives and the following day Nigel Howarth rang and we had a telephone consultation regarding our damp problems An appointment was arranged and we were informed that it would take a few hours Nigel arrived promptly and he spent a long time inspecting our home and taking damp meter readings He gave us detailed information on what the problems are and how to rectify them We received a detailed report with photo s and showing room by room where the problems are We now have everything we need to explain to building contractors the work we need carrying out Having had several companies let us down with misinformation it was an enormous relief to have a professional like Nigel to help us fully understand where the problems started and how to rectify them Cannot recommend Nigel and Damp Detectives highly enough

Paul was brilliant throughout the process I d had a few building companies around who all told me that I had major damp issues and needed extensive treatment and tried to sell me very expensive treatments I thought as a last throw of the dice i d contact damp detectives and I m so glad I did as Paul gave a thorough and honest assessment and confirmed that I didn t have major damp issues and that only minor treatments were needed to resolve the issues Thank you Paul
