Not able to get a refund on a cancelled flight

I made two bookings with Esky for Ryanair flights Now both flights have been cancelled by Ryanair and as they have no alternative for the dates I require I have had to re-book with Jet2 I have requested a refund from Ryanair but they state that the refund will go into the account that originally made the booking which was Esky I cannot see any way of contacting Esky to discuss Not a good outcome Hope to hear from Esky

Money has left my account only booking reference number so far Booking pending for 2 days now How can a purchase be pending when the money has been exchanged Where are my tickets boarding pass

Relatively easy site to navigate No complaints - except that there are too many sites competing and I never seem to hit the same one twice running

No confirmation on ticket need assistance with accidental typo

I ve booked a flight just tonight I should have done my homework They charged my card but I haven t received any confirmation in regards to my tickets yet There is also an accidental one letter typo in my mom s first name I ve tried to contact esky to correct it but their line only works during business hours I ve filled out a couple of their online forms already I ve contacted the airline we fly with and they said they ll make the typo correction free of cost once Esky requests it and also confirmed that no ticket has been issued yet Hopefully I ll be able to talk to esky tomorrow and they ll be helpful rather then difficult Fingers crossed esky number 3418584012Update I ve just talked to esky on the phone They confirmed that no typo was made during the reservation it s an automatic change due to special characters in the name I m supposed to receive my tickets shortly and also confirmed that in case of any price changes I have the option to not to go through with the booking and I ll get a full refund I m pleasantly surprised by how easy was it to reach them by the phone and appreciate their help

Baggage

I have booked to go to Belfast next week paid an extra 50 for hold luggage which is not on my booking when I contacted esky after a few glitches they were very helpful

I wasn t sure if the booking was made

I wasn t sure if the booking was made successfully for 3-4 hours By the way there are no fields to attach my passport details only in the online checking area

Be very careful errors will be punished maybe even entrapment

I just tried to book a flight with logan air one way - I entered the direction of travel - I know which way I want to go chose flights and paid Somehow this flight direction managed to get reversed I noticed within 30 mins of paying and got through to the number on the email quite quickly - however apparently as my booking is showing as pending I cannot change it or cancel it until this has changed Once it has changed to confirmed they will then charge me to change it The flight is fully flexible for almost the same price with loganair direct I do not believe the flight esky sold me was flexible very annoyed that I cannot cancel my pending booking Edited to add - second person I dealt with on the phone was able to cancel the unconfirmed flight due to routing error so now assuming I obtain my refund in 7 to 10 days as promised I am reasonably happy Will revise my star rating then Final Edit - I received the cash back fairly swiftly thanks

There I found the cheapest tickets

There I found the cheapest tickets from all searching websites It was convenient to use Flights in nearby dates which clearly shows the options of many dates and days to choose the cheapest one People need to know that taxes and baggage fees will be added later so the low ticket price will increase a lot

Booked flights

I orginally rated esky 1 star as my booking went into a pending state and I was very concerned from other reviews that I would not receive any tickets Also there was no indication when booking that this 24 hour delay would happen However - 24 hours later the booking has arrived and I have verified it with the airline So I m changing my review to 4 stars - with 1 star knocked off as it was just not clear what was going on when my booking went into a pending state esky did reply to my queries within a couple of hours and assured me it would be ok So based on all this I am happy I just had a bit of stressful 24 hours
