After the lights were installed they

After the lights were installed they worked perfectly for 24 hours but now they will not switch off the dimmed green colour even when using the remote they work as usual but always having the green dimmed colour in the background and when switches off the with the remote the dimmed green remains Supply power must be switched off to fully turn them off

The lamp shade was dented when it

The lamp shade was dented when it arrived almost certainly from when it was being packaged with protective paper forced in around it Could not be bothered to return it as it is a painful process and it was only 10 so pressed out what we could of the denting and turned round the damaged section A shame because it is not a bad lamp Don t think we will be ordering from 1st Choice again if this is the standard of care

I bought 2 lanterns for an outdoor

I bought 2 lanterns for an outdoor terrace After a few weeks one stopped working The glass lantern is not water tight The bulb was corroded apparently not suitable for outdoors Total waste of money plus time to instal etc Not a happy customer

Garden lamp post had no fittings for screwing into an existing concrete base

Metal used in lamp post was quite thin I doubt if it would take a hard knock Fittings were poor it assumed that the post would be placed on about 6 of freshly laid concrete There were no fittings for screwing into an existing concrete base Some small rubber plugs didn t seem to fit anything No indication of where washers should be used One small headless bolt missing from the kit An extra glass piece would have been very useful as a spare for any breakage

White Chandelier

After looking at various websites for a white chandelier I decided to buy one from First Choice Lighting It arrived quickly was well packaged however some of the chandelier had pieces of white scrapped off the metal was showing through so I put tipex on to hide it it looks fine Must say though at 65 I expected it to be perfect

I would use them again

Delivery was ontime fourth working day the lamp had been well packed and the price matched the lowest we found We considered over 50 exterior lights for the property conservation area and very visible so we were disapointed the colours were not the same as photographed however First Choice Lighting did offer a refund
