Very poor delivery times

Ordered on the 7th July nest of tables delivery stated as 10 to 20 days8th July e mail to say order being processed4rt August e mail received saying this a courtesy e mail to say order has been processed by distribution centre as is due to be passed over to carriers in next 72 hours 3 days once scanned into their depot they will contact me to arrange delivery we anticipate delivery will be in contact in the next 5 to 10 daysTherefore do not take notice of there delivery times as it s a joke

UPDATE as per 16 01 22 after I had launched a serious complaint meaning to implement every word I said see below the company finally reacted swiftly and took action They leased with the delivery company which no longer took on new assignments due to cutting too close to Christmas Fusion Furniture put pressure on their delivery partner resulting in me timely receiving the first two items from my order meant to be delivered before Christmas For that I will add another star I shall upgrade it to four stars as soon as I receive the large bookcase which was promised to arrive sometime after Christmas due to unforeseen problems with the stock Of course this is subject to Fusion Furniture taking on board previous mistakes being proactive in chasing the rest of my order with the supplier and leasing with and keeping me updated regularly on the development and expected delivery times I hope not to chase my bookcase for the remainder of this year Original review from December 2021 Dear Team at Oak Furniture Store also known as Fusion Furniture I am highly dissatisfied with the service I am receiving from your company What should have been an easy purchase of the furniture more than a month before the Christmas cut-off date has turned into a horrible example of customer service I have been chasing my furniture since the 17th of November Mind you that ALL three items had the status of available in 2 weeks I knew that the large bookcase would be delivered after Christmas and made my peace with it However you continuously reassured me and promised me that the other two items would be delivered on time Three weeks ago you told me that the coffee table and small bookcase had arrived in your warehouse Last week I spoke with the wonderful lady who said that my furniture WILL be delivered before Christmas Today I have received an email from the courier who upon my phone call told me that my items would be delivered the first week of January How is this possible when you explicitly promised to deliver BEFORE Christmas This is an important detail because the UK Consumer Rights state the following Any information is given or promises made to you about the service that helps you decide whether to buy or to make any further decisions about the service must be upheld by the trader My decision to purchase your goods was based on the availability status 2 weeks as per the beginning of November All other retailers with similar products had them out of stock Yes I am talking about a breach of consumer rights You have been messing me around for a month now You have fed me lies all this time So far you have failed to deliver minimal customer service I needed furniture in time for Christmas I am forced to sit in an empty room You have messed me about until the point that I cannot order anything else from another retailer as it is too late into the month I believe we have now moved beyond generic apologies The only way the Oak Furniture Store aka Fusion Furniture can rectify this situation is by finding another express courier that WILL deliver my goods in time for Christmas I am extremely unhappy and will seek help from Trading Standards if this appalling situation is not resolved by Thursday I do not want to hear any more apologies and excuses I expect to receive my goods before Christmas as advertised at the time of purchase and promised on five different occasions upon phoning your customer service to chase my goods

I ll keep this factual I m not here to ruin business at this current time due to operational challenges 1 Ordered 2 items via Fusion Furniture from a Company called Besp-oak in Coventry 13th July Both items were in stock according to their website with a lead time of 20 days for in stock items 2 Long delay much longer than stated got in touch large item OOS until October and smaller item to be delivered in September Possibly due to Lockdown so was patient but was never informed at the time of ordering which was the company s oversight and caused much of the issues The items were finally delivered but sadly damaged on three separate occasions and were of very poor quality from the Evelyn oak range from Besp-oak Director of the Fusion did contact me today with genuine apology as it appears this was a poor batch from Besp-oak Evelyn range As many small businesses have been caught out by home-working etc it has obviously been a very stressful and testing time I appreciate that he will review my case and has already put measures in place to prevent this occurring again My advice would be that if you are ordering the Evelyn range from Besp-oak to ask that it is checked prior to it being delivered as the quality seems variable I am sure that other ranges of products are of good quality from this company and Fusion Furniture as it seems they have other good reviews but sadly not this particular range at the time of my order I believe this issue is now being investigated

Placed an order for some rattan garden

Placed an order for some rattan garden furniture in March like many others over 1000 paid upfront knowing this was pre-order for May Had to contact at the beginning of May to see if that had come into stock advised no this would now be the beginning of June Have received no updates from Fusion if this has now come into stock Have emailed - no reply have tried to telephone and all I get are answer phone messages saying office is closed but I am calling during opening hours they are quoting or that the mailbox is full Would love to know if and when this furniture is in stock as website now saying sold out for season Too late to order anything else now for the summer NOT HAPPY Edit 1 - One good thing so far from this review - I have now been contacted by Fusion Furniture and getting some traction on the delivery and status of this order Let s hope I can amend this review to 5 stars when my order is received

I ordered my furniture in March 2021

I ordered my furniture in March 2021 paying in full for my garden furniture and although the advert said in stock the delivery was going to be May 2021 I was okay with this but after chasing it up I was then told there would be a delay I chased it up again in June 2021 and I was told it was now going to be July Half the summer will be over In fairness a Director of the company has now called me to assure me that the furniture is now due into port around 23 July and should be with me shortly after then I will comment on the delivery and quality of the product when received

Great product at good price

Great product at good price delivery company kept us informed and helpful about changing delivery date Only complaint was lack of communication from Fusion Furniture after purchase to before delivery good after delivery communication If communication had been better rating would have been 5 stars Would still recommend and would buy from again

Order early

The Good absolutely thrilled with our Maze rattan garden sofa it looks fabulous and I feel we paid a fair price for it given the current worldwide shortage of garden furniture The Bad delivery time we ordered beginning of March and the furniture was finally delivered mid August which brings me on toThe Ugly as said in other reviews communication is dreadful I dislike companies that fail to act until they get complaints Hopefully with all these reviews saying pretty much the same thing they will give the staff training to be proactive not reactive That said after I complained I was contacted by Anuuj I think it s his company who was then my point of call and couldn t have been more helpful Would I order from them again yes I would the furniture is top quality which is what matters at the end of the day just allow plenty of time for it to be delivered don t go by dates on the website give them a ring for realistic timescales

Great furniture well packed by helpful delivery man Quite easy to fix together but allow an afternoon to do it Looks great all assembled and very comfortable

Very high quality furniture polite customer service team a bit of a delay in delivery but very happy overall

Very high quality furniture ordered a marble table and stylish chairs Customer service were very polite and delivery team were great too and able to choose delivery date and kept well informed Only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was the fact that on the website the items were showing as in stock and delivery within 10-20 days But upon ordering and after paying they told me the chairs weren t actually in stock and the 10-20 days delivery window in fact started about 16 days after placing the order Despite that I am very happy with the items and would recommend and use again

I love my garden sofa

I love my garden sofa It took a while to arrive but that was stated when I ordered It looks great in the garden and is very comfortable My only issue is that one of the cushions is damaged and I haven t had a replacement yet A woman from Fusion has been regularly keeping in touch and apologising but it seems there is an issue with the supplier
