Good bed quality from what i can see so far But despite pre-paid assembly service delivery guys refused to assemble my bed and just dumped the pieces into my living room Self-assembly was possible but very time consuming as I ve never done it before and you need at least 2 people

Bedframe seems very good so far but it was extremely difficult to put together and took much longer than the advertised 25 minutes Not sure whether the holes in the frame weren t predrilled properly or whether I was using duff tools but it took me 90 minutes and I still couldn t get some of the screws all the way in

The quality of the bed seems good However it arrived with a big dent damage to the headboard Which I spotted just as the delivery guys were leaving so had to stop them in the street They came back and took photos etc but they should have noticed the damage themselves Then they also spotted they d not even screwed in all the screws I am awaiting a call from the company to arrange for a new headboard to be delivered

The delivery men were in such a rush they forgot to deliver the floating shelf As there was no delivery chit for cross checking we didn t pick up on this until after they d left When I phoned I was told someone would get back to me but no one did so I ll have to start chasing on Monday to arrange the delivery The bed is lovely but the holes drilled in the slats were so badly aligned we had to redo two because otherwise the screws would have missed the plinth

Overall service is fine Yet the the delivery time slot is not customer friendly in my opinion The delivery time slot is anytime between 07 00 am to 21 00 Based on my experience you would not know the exact time until around 1 5 hours beforehand With the advance of technologies most of the companies are able to advise a more precise time slot i e 2-hours slot the day before delivery For a company that serves not just the UK I would expect a better and more customer friendly delivery time slot rather than a 14-hours slot

Was disappointed that I could not get the service for the delivery team to put my bed together when my bed arrived the delivery team said they could have built my bed and the van would have been safe When I eventually got the bed built I had a missing slat and the pistons didn t work The service department were very helpful and dealt with my query very quickly I am now waiting for the missing and broken pieces

I have built many flat pack items of furniture with ease yet this build was terrible the instructions just aren t clear enough for the amount of pieces to this bed each panel should have even a small letter or number which matches to the instructions for an easier build The bed when built has large gaps at the top and bottom maybe due to having no headboard but even still for 800 I feel the bed is over priced and looks like it should be worth maybe half that amount or less IMHO

Pleased with bed paid for white glove service delivery men not friendly but not unfriendly either just focused on getting delivery done Website claims bed comes partially assembled but this was not the case One slat warped everything else was fine asked by customer service to provide photo which I was not impressed by having spent a considerable amount of money on the bed Have contacted them and am waiting to hear back

I love the design of the bed Although there are a few chips in the bed which I would expect to be in there considering the price of the bed The top panels are a different type of wood to the posts which is not a big issue for me I still like the design my only issue is with the chips little dents in the posts There s 3 alone in one section I would just expect no chips at all for this price Not something I can sand down either

The situation We ordered the Shoreditch floating bed with headboard and opted to put it together ourselves The headboard and foot of the bed came preassembled we did not know this ahead of time The headboard was assembled so badly that every single one of the three boards was misaligned On top of that the pilot holes in the slats were in the wrong places The plus points the wood was beautiful and customer services were really responsive and sent out another headboard The situation part 2 they did not send out another pre-assembled headboard but just the three boards One of these had some really odd-looking discolourations all part of a natural wood product but it really did look very peculiar - on one side it looked like giant water stains and on the other was a very bright strip of light wood that didn t match any of the other wood tones in the headboard Unfortunately as they were a different size to the original boards we couldn t just swap that board out Our solution In the end we disassembled the original headboard had to buy new drill bits and drilled some extra holes in the back of the frame to reattach the original boards but aligned this time We also drilled new pilot holes in the slats so that the screws would actually meet the bedframe End result we now have a beautiful bed from the front but the frame at the back is rather marred Not what you expect from a product that cost several hundred pounds The slats also creak quite a bit and I suspect this will only get worse over time I can t fault customer services who were polite and helpful but the workmanship was just not what it should have been It s a real shame because the design is just what we wanted
