Do not trust this company
This company has an F rating on BBB and my own personal experience is that they initially just deny a claim with invalid reasons given A routine dental exam which according to their summary plan detail is covered 100 with no waiting period was denied due to waiting period When speaking to their customer service they said they would make a note on the claim I then asked so what happens then as I have not received an explanation of benefits their answer was that I would need to call again in three to five days I asked why they would not have sent an explanation of benefits they said I had a payment pending which I did not I had paid for several months in advance I asked to speak to a supervisor and they said they would take my number and call back in 1 to 2 days I demanded to speak to a supervisor and they hung up I also did not receive a call back from the supervisor This insurance is a scam

They don t pay
Their doctor 3000 miles away from you will deny your claim Without even looking at your mouth and without even taking the doctors note that my doctor has sent to them saying it needed to be done and they still denied the claim

Misrepresentation and Deception
I signed up for Guardian Direct Dental Insurance through the healthcare gov website because my dentist was listed as in network for their plan Turns out when it comes time to pay he isn t Further they claim that it s not their responsibility that he was listed as covered Big surprise healthcare gov says it is their responsibility My only recourse is to sue These people suck They re in the business of stealing

Some of their plans say they cover 100
Some of their plans say they cover 100 out of network What they really cover is 100 of is what they calculate the total cost should be for the dental care they do not cover 100 of what you are actually billed Recently paid 120 for a basic dental exam for my daughter and they reimbursed 42
