Extremely easy collecting car at Belfast City Airport which was a nearly new model Being in N Ireland surprised the Speedometer measured in Kilometres which was inconvenient Would have been handy having local map showing where nearby petrol stations located as returning car we couldn t find one and had to overpay at Hertz rate of 4 per litre for fuel used Bit of a rip off paying 54 for 1 4 tank estimate 30 at a petrol station Staff were good though and overall would use again making sure got to fill tank before returning vehicle

As I was making two separate bookings for car rental this summer I called Hertz Dublin directly to ensure I was getting the best deal My queries were answered efficiently and honestly by Kamila and she also very kindly made the booking for us I received a confirmation email from her and everything was very clear Upon arrival at Dublin Airport the gentleman serving me was very nice but I admit I was slightly taken back that no-one from the Hertz accompanies you to your rental car for pick up You are simply told what bay the car is parked in This means that if you spot any damage to the car not already noted you need to go back into the terminal Thankfully this was not my case but Hertz do need to review this For my second booking I was served by Nelisha who was very welcoming and professional We managed to get a car upgrade as all the luggage would not have fit in the orignal car hired and this was done seamlessly Drop off for both cars was very quick and no problems I did have a mechanical problem with one of the wing mirrors but I called it in immediately and made sure it was added to my notes so I was not charged at drop off for something I did not break I must say I am very surprised to read all the negative reviews for Hertz Dublin Maybe I just got lucky but I have no complaints and will happily use them again

About two years ago my husband and I rented a HERTZ SUV from the Dublin airport We were so lucky to have then met their representative Stephane Since then he has been our Go-To Guy for our rentals In January of 2020 we were married in Ireland and rented 2 vehicles Both were waiting in the airport terminal during the early morning hours given the flight arrival time from USA The paperwork was ready and waiting too and we were out of the terminal in under 30 minutes He even kept in touch with us during COVID We just finished our first post COVID trip home and we are planning two more trips soon We will definitely be reaching out to Stephane and his teammates and we will continue to rent through HERTZ Stephane was at all times professional accessible communicative personable and definitely contributed to our seamless and enjoyable rental experience

My son was moving house recently and the van we were using left us down at the last minute So I rang Hertz van rental in Railway st Cork where I spoke with William He was such a pleasure to deal with and his coustomer care a second to none He is a credit to your company and a Gent Would definitely use Hertz again if the need should arise

As the global pandemic put a dent into travel worldwide it was a breath of fresh air to find a company and a team that bent over backward to offer extraordinary service and support in these extraordinary times We had repatriated back to Ireland from Hong Kong at the height of the lockdown and with so many businesses closed and government functions slowed down the team at Hertz didn t miss a beat and helped us with a long-term rental that was long on support and short on hassle Can t recommend them enough

Lovely trustworthy sales person clean car on time central location filled with fuel and limited fuss returning Couldn t ask for more than that and it s always the same in Sligo hertz

My name is James Brennan of Tara Leathers Dublin I have to hire a van to collect some PPE gear for my shop s The 2 lads there are unbelievable helpful Brian and David I braugh the Van back just a few minutes before the deadline and forgot to fill up the tank and was panicking however Brian said I was ok as it is still in the fill mark Highly recommended

Rented a van ended up getting a bigger one as an upgrade Minor issues with the vehicle but we got reimbursed for everything we paid on the repairs Pick up and return was super easy and quick and staff was extremely helpful Have had many issues with other car rentals so great to see Hertz is a fair one Will definitely be renting with them again
