Good broadband lousy customer care

The broadband speed is fast and reliable however customer service are incredibly difficult to contact if problems arise Multiple times I got through to an advisor only to be told that the department I needed to speak to were all busy and someone would get back to me within 2-3 working days but still waiting

Disappointing UnfortunatelyEnglish wasn t great

Unfortunately his English wasn t great so he couldn t discuss or advise where the best place for the connection was It s now in a room at the end of the building so we have little or no WiFi in other rooms He also didn t reconnect plugs that he had disconnected leaving us to work out what was working and what wasn t Not being tech Savvy it made it hard work Sonos and other ssystems not working either

Unreliable

I have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt since Nov 23 but I finall give up The network is not reliable at all especially for me who works at home My bosses must think am making it up but half the time am trying to reconnect my computer It s become a nuisance The customer service is good though they try to help its just come to a point where we have to part ways before I lose it

Sometimes unstable with days

I m with them since 2022 and i pay the 45 package but the service provided for this amount is lower than average If we stream it on 2 devices at the same time Netflix my partner and YouTube for my other device for example one of them will be lagging Not to mention if you request some support it will come eventually but they probably only gonna advise you or give you an update about the technical issue

Frequent outages

On the positive side it s great value for money and the router that they supply is excellent Unfortunately their support is very bare bones they don t even have an online portal for you to login and update payment details But most significantly is just how frequent the outages are almost twice a week Working remotely I cannot trust this connection in the same way I could our previous BT line and have to have enough data on my phone contract to tether as a backup Edit Almost a month after they asked for my details no one from HeyBroadband has reached out to me

Unsatisfactory Not satisfied We had hey broadband installed but

We had hey broadband installed but were not informed by the salesperson that there was a choice of equipment It is necessary for us to have our own equipment to boost signal in our house which we have Unfortunately hey broadband have installed the wrong type of equipment to run with this Viewing films is a nightmare because of the weak signal They won t change their equipment for the option that would solve the problems we are having unless we pay another installation fee If only the engineer had informed us that there were options at the time of installation and given us a choice we would have avoided all the issues we re having Not atall satisfied as we had no problem with our previous provider

Customer for couple of years

Customer for couple of years put up to 4 stars from 3 as connection has been good again for a couple of months thankfully and hopefully will go back to 5 stars in another couple Update 26 04 23 down to 2 stars they did an update last night and now IP not in UK lots of others on HB same issue stops access to many sites Adobe xbox etc No call back from tech support

I am using this service from past one

I am using this service from past one month internet will be disconnected all of sudden I had to call customer service Ready to face these issues if you are going to choose this service You will loose the internet connection in the middle of work You will be spending hours on the customer care calls There won t be any resolution after 3 or 4 hours You will go mad and regret why you have switch to Hey Broadband

Very bad service constantly going down

Very bad service constantly going down in Wantage for the last couple of days I work from home so thats the worst it can happen even in a several days I called them to ask for estimated time they couldn t tell me at all even tho the outage was 2 hours already If you work from home and dont want to get fired or having problems then dont take it as you provider Overall the internet speed was good as well being stable but some days its just going down and you have no idea what to do or how to proceed

Billing has not been great with over

Billing has not been great with over charging I had to stop the direct debit three times to get them to resolve it seems to have settled now Have had periods when the internet wasn t available we thought we d been cut off due to the DD cancellation I ll change provider when it comes round next as the cancellation fee was over 300
