Slightly delayed installation due to power issue Call centre were pretty useless regarding updates so emailed Roxanne at Fibre Wireless Networks directly who was much more forthcoming with exact information No noticeable difference with speeds since leaving BT

Really good price with offer and fast

Really good price with offer currently on Promise of no price rise during 2 year contract Would be 5 stars but the installation date was postponed due to needing an extra cable in the ground which is fine but getting through to customer service proved quite challenging at times Now it is set up have tested speed and much faster than my previous broadband with Sky

It took three attempts to install our broadband Sadly the problems of fitting at our home identified by the first installer were not communicated back to H B so the second crew arrived unprepared On third attempt they knew how to solve problem However great perseverance by them Installed and working fine now Fortunate I was at home

My experience of changing broadband

My experience of changing broadband and landline to Hey Broadband was excellent I was kept informed about the change and the changover proceeded as planned The engineer was quick and efficient with the installation It is useful to deal with a small organisation and talk to the same people when contacting them My package was very good value compared with competetors I would recommend Hey Broadband

Good ecperience

1st attempt they needed to get a cherry picker as the pole was dangerous 1week later I did chase they arrive with said cherry picker and installed exactly as I needed quickly and politely Instant Fibre connection working like a dream What s different about Hey Broadband - They don t throttle upload speeds synchronous speeds

Problems with IP addressing but now fixed

After a good start Hey and F W Networks upgraded their network changed my static IP and with my new IP address I can t access lots of important sites like paypal com because of a 403 Forbidden error update Now fixed thanks to Denis - new service provider with growing pains so prepare for an ocassionally bumpy road

A few bumps along the road to great broadband

A good if occasionally frustrating service from Hey The initial install was not possible because the team had not brought enough cable so postponed for nearly 3 weeks Installers then arrived on time and connected only for us to lose connection that evening Remedied quickly and efficiently the next day - everyone trying hard to get us connected Now terrific broadband All staff very helpful

OK lets start with the good points

OK lets start with the good points Fantastic speeds bi-directional and very competitive price Have contacted Help Desk and was quickly helped to split the wifi inti 2 4 and 5 0 Ghz services as I had some devices that would not work on Triband Now the bad side - Having place original order in April it took over 2 months to finally get the service up and running First of all an issue with getting fibre to door then an issue with insufficient power further up the line Customer service for this was very poor Had to chase 3 4 5 time for updates and promised call backs that never happened If the install service was as good as the actual service it would be 5 stars

Good Speeds

Good download and upload speeds more than adequate for browsing email research etc VOIP speech not always clear Had two problems early on both solved by Customer Service pretty quickly PS Hate the ads on streaming TV

It took a while but the end experience was great

I signed up for Hey Broadband at the beginning of July but because of issues with getting connected and having to eventually do the job of the Wayleave team after several months of no contact I am now connected 5 months later Darren connected me on the day and he explained what he was doing and cleaned up after himself Service is running smoothly just wish it had been sorted out months quicker
