honest review

installation cable left across top of the lawn not buried signal kept dropping not being able to stream with out lagging Router not fit for purpose as wireless not good computers had to be hard wired customer service not knowledgeable on technical issues with saying about packet loss and dropping of signal reading off a script so far everything has been sorted out at the moment we will see how long it lasts but it did take over a month to sort issues out since the writing of this review the signal has been good but the router is still not fit to be called wireless I would like them to replace it with one that is wireless

Door step sales tactics reminiscent of double glazing sales His sheet of paper said 4 months free but actually no there is a flash sale so its actually 6 months free I said I wasn t in a position to sign up for personal reasons and hey presto its 1 year free State your promotion the best you an offer and stop changing it every time a potential customer says not today It makes you look desperate and that your original price pitch is over inflated

Lies on the doorstep to sell sell sell

The sales team on the door told us full coverage would be checked on installation and the rooter could be put anywhere we wanted Neither of these was true the rooter could only be put as close to the outside as possible and now we don t get any internet signal in half the upstairs We were told we could get a booster but not that there would be an additional 7 pcm charge

NEW ROUTER IS HOPELESS NO SIGNAL IN 4th ROOM OR DOWN STAIRS LOUNGE SPEED PROMISE IS NOT REAL NEVER GOT GOOD SPEED TO OTHER COMPETITORS I WOILD NOT RECOMMEND UNTIL IMPROVE THEIR ROUTER WIFI SIGNAL AND SPEED

Zero customer service skills

Whilst a customer internet would keep dropping out and I d have to keep chasing for a resolution meaning I couldn t work from home then when I moved they couldn t provide it in my new area so charged me to close the account They didn t take the last payment when they were supposed to made zero attempt to contact me and instead 6 months down the line I get an email from debt collectors They refuse to reply to my emails and refuse to raise my official complaint as apparently you need to be a customer to make a complaint Disgusting service and disgusting they can negatively impact someones credit rating without any attempt to contact a customer after the company messed up

Proceed with caution Hey broadband installed cables on our building like a year and bit ago and since then I can t even begin to describe how many cold calls we had On a good day they will knock on the door to advertise and ask you to join them up to 6 times no matter how many time you ask them to stop So our service came to an end and as the speed was honestly rubbish so my husband thought well that he is killing two rabbits with one stone - no more cold calls and supposedly extremely fast NET Guess what Installation day came- no communication -the engineers are running late but turned up Our cables from the previous provider cut and no further service hence available next day we received an email keep your previous net running until your new one is up and running a day after the cables were cut by their engineers no signal as we were relying on WiFi calls for our young kids and I mean toddler my husband unable to do his job and and half term no TV for our eldest- great More vulnerable I have never felt We called and called them every day no resolution or information offered only the Annoying I am truly sorry and generic template to get you out of their hair Apparently we are required to stay like that for another up to 4 weeks according to their website as their customer service is extremely unreliable for any information and hope and pray that I don t need to call 111 or 999 as impossible to do so from my property Writing this review while out and using data in town centre So Stay as far away as you can I am going to be writing to the ombudsman if after this Friday the service is not up and running cos until then apparently you can switch either basically giving them the benefit of the doubt that they will do what they are supposed to Following on my previous review and having to call another 3 times On Saturday by pure chance the technician turned up with no communication whatsoever and fixed the issue so finally we have a broadband The technician was professional helpful and diligent hence the change in the rating The company really needs to review its communication to improve the customer experience as we had no communication that someone was coming and even though we called 3 times- during my last conversation with the rep it became clear that even though we were calling to let them know we still don t have service they believed the service was up and running Anyway the issue is now resolved and hopefully that would be the end of this

This is like the 3rd time our WiFi has

This is like the 3rd time our WiFi has gone out since switching to this provider This time it went out for 2 days and even though they fixed it within 48 hours My family and I work from home and this led to cancelled meetings cancelled tuition lessons etc which led to a significant loss of money When I mentioned this to the phone operator Londiwe Xaba she said they won t provide compensation despite these major issues that occurred as a result of the wifi cutting out and also said no manager will speak to me This is just not on no compensation for such inconvenience

Happily using for 3 years but recent

Happily using for 3 years but recent bill goes wrong and charge me 5 months which has been charged before Try to contact their billing dept but no responded

First Bill - massive overcharge

Have Been significantly overcharged on my first bill no acknowledgement of my email to the billing team to date no idea on service level agreement Broadband is good Not impressed with the customer service When is someone going to contact me to resolve

Good when it works expect service outages once a month

Internet service is good when it works but I get a lot of of outages Good example of this I work from home I was in the middle of a meeting and my broadband failed Thankfully it came back I checked my router shortly after I d finished for the day and found I couldn t login any more I called support and got that resolved and could access it again as all my port forwarding was lost After looking at the interface it was different so it appears that they performed a disruptive software upgrade in the router at 2pm on Friday afternoon I ve come to expect this from Hey broadband Trouble is 1000mb broadband is no good when it s down I doubt I ll renew when I get come out of my contract and may even consider early penalties Sorry hey broadband the service reliability just isn t right
