Poor courier choice

Customer service on the Horizon side of things was adequate However Horizon use Evri frankly speaking imo a foolish decision when shipping vinyl Evri reputation for loss and damage is well known Delivery was not smooth sailing involved a lot of chasing Evri Waited in for two aborted deliveries Evri cancelling both at short no notice Goods finally arrived and at first glance at least appear to have arrived unscathed For the poor choice of courier - have to mark Horizon down I m afraid It s unfortunate that supporting Horizon by signing up to the mailing list leads to carpet bombing 14 emails on 03 06 Average us about 10 Suggest a weekly newsletter may have more impact and not drive customers to hitting unsubscribe Won t be using again but wouldn t take much to change that view Which is all the more sad

No refunds poorly run poor communication

Ordered some records as pre-orders but after some time I decided to purchase those records elsewhere I reached out to get a refund and was refused a refund for items I never received I was forced to use store credit instead even though I requested a full refund Emails with Neil have been unprofessional and poorly written This business feels like it s more of a sloppy front than a well-oiled machine The experience between a store like Horizons and Juno is night and day I won t be using Horizons music again in the future even though I have store credit there

Do NOT buy anything from this company First issue was during purchasing everything seemed fine until i had to chase my order status weeks later to then be rudely told that i am in the wrong for assuming to except the item just after Christmas Terrible customer service terrible company even worse products I will be getting in touch with the correct authorities including crown commercial services on top of this nearly two months later and i am yet to receive my refund

Where there is smoke there is fire is an apt assessment for this shop and why the reviews are not great I read all reviews and ordered the Frank Ocean Blond album with some concern However I was pleasantly surprised with the tracking information and it came on time However when we tried playing it on the newly bought for this record player it was awful - skipping all over the place We tested 3 other records and they played perfectly - tried the Blond album again and it s a mess Skipping jumping Awful For 35 49 I will be contacting horizons music for a replacement

T C said EU taxes included but not true

Order in august shipment packaging and products correct But need to pay import taxes even if its clearly stated in Terms and Conditions UK and EU residents will not have to pay any customs or import duties Contacted customer services about this issue just received and answer that no they are not IOSS registered so you need to pay taxes when your order from EU Even if it is an error on the Terms and Conditions they keep the same statement as of today and they didn t fixed even if they have been alerted and it has been proven misleading

My record didn t arrive for over 4

My record didn t arrive for over 4 weeks I bought it as a birthday present so ordered well in advance I did contact the company for an update and to explain my panic as I had to buy a second gift as it hadn t arrived The response was simple and not in any way apologetic or sincere I will not use Horizon again

Not Great

I placed my first order with Horizons before doing any research or checking of reviews I ordered 3 items all vinyl records When the order arrived via Royal Mail one record was slightly warped and another item was the wrong colour it was white vinyl and not standard black colour that I had ordered They offered me a 5 credit in respect of the damaged record and stated it was impossible to know the colour of the other item black or white as the vinyl was sealed However they had this two listings on the website for this record with the white version being more expensive than the standard black vinyl This seems to be one of the main issues with this company i e a misleading website that shows records that are available but it is pot luck if you actually get what you order I subsequently received an email from Horizons which sated that if I write a review on Trustpilot I would be entered into a draw for a 25 gift voucher incentive which it should be noted goes against Trustpilot s guidelines Unfortunately I would not recommend using this company

Finally received order after 2 weeks

Finally received order after 2 weeks Lack of communication all around had to chase Website says that orders ship in a couple of working days Item was not on hand despite showing as available on site Item was delivered by Royal Mail from a seemingly unassociated company in London Mango Storage All in all just generally felt uneasy and a bit dodgy Won t be ordering again have had much nicer experiences elsewhere

Shocking customer service

Shocking customer service Listing vinyl that wasn t in stock then refusing to post the other items foc because it was no longer over 40 Offered store credit but still wouldn t post foc even though it was their fault However I did get my records in time for Christmas

The 15 euro customs charge on just one

The 15 euro customs charge on just one record was disappointing but the record is great Maybe you should set up an EU operation
