Was ok in general

Having paid for the Tracker device it took several calls over the course of a week to chase up getting an appointment for the installation then it was a further 2 weeks for the first available data for the installation Hence nearly 4 weeks to get tracker device operational Installation engineer was very good

Turned up and installed no problem but

Was ok in general Was finally installed after they cancelled and changed date 3 times Engineer did a lot of banging and only said should all be ok After he left noticed cover in glovebox not fitted back properly and a slight crack in the plastic Phone people were all good

Very efficient and affable engineer

Turned up and installed no problem but would have appreciated a shorter time slot Also were at the door almost before we got the txtbto say they were on the way

A proper job

Very efficient and affable engineer Ryan Smith installed Tracker with minimum of fuss or disturbance He gave me a good run down on how to use it and some other options for me to consider Overall very satisfied

Parking ticket

This is the second Tracker that I have had fitted of this model and as previously the installation went smoothly The engineer called me prior to turning up as agreed and was very thorough with his work on arrival He had to take out a few parts of the dash to fit the unit but everything was refitted properly and he left no mess no not the packaging of the unit And even though he had to work on the street in the light rain a proper job was carried out

The team showed up on the day expected

I think that it should be communicated prior to attendance that the installation has to be done on the street and that parking had to be paid for both vehicles I almost got tickets and was informed that I would have to pay for both I have free parking at my residence therefore I thought that this was a bit unreasonable However the man who installed the device was very efficient and kind

Okay

The engineer who installed the tracker was pleasant There was a slight mishap with the tracker itself being defunct though so he had to go get another one which made the whole process take 2h or so My gripe is more with the booking process for the installation which was confusing and occurred later than I expected after buying the tracker from Arnold Clark I don t know why but there was some sort of miscommunication there

Quick and efficient

Quick and efficient service to instal the black box Takes about 30 minutes Only reason it s not a 5 star is the fact I was given a time slot of 8am to 1pm and the engineer arrived at 1pm I think it s not too difficult to call and be a bit more precise on timing - 1 hour on the day of installation as waiting for 5 hours is a bit frustrating

Friendly efficient service but inconvenient appointment slots

Had a telematics device fitted to my car for insurance purposes Pros - The installation engineer was very friendly and efficient arrived on time and gave me an estimate of how long the installation would take - Haven t noticed any difference to my car after having the device fitted Cons - You are only informed the day before your installation date of whether the installation will be in the morning or afternoon and even then the time slots are 5 hours long either 8am-1pm or 1pm-6pm so it s likely you ll have to book a full day off work to be available for the installation which only takes around 30 mins
