Reading other reviews I m not the first to see Ikea as thieves
Awful experience with Ikea this morning I ordered a day bed with 2 mattresses and they only delivered 1 mattress it s a single order code When I called customer services to get my second mattress I had to argue with an incredibly arrogant customer services assistant for 40mins she wasn t interested in understanding the problem and just liked to say no They had 2 orders under my one order number neither of which were mine and the lady on the phone wasn t listening or interested in the fact they weren t my order I had paid 337CHF for the bed and she was arguing that I had bought the 199CHF version despite the total value of the order not adding up to what I had paid After 40mins she finally comes to realise that I am right but it doesn t change the fact that I have wasted all of that time had a horrible experience with an arrogant and wrong customer services representetive paid 99CHF just for a delivery that wasn t complete and will now have to waste another day at home waiting for the mattress to be delivered Ultimately Ikea sell poor quality products and offer even worse customer service Avoid avoid avoid

Genuinely the worst experience I have ever had
Genuinely the worst experience I have ever had ordering things online I ordered a whole flat s worth of furniture and a they didn t confirm my order or delivery time which I had specifically requested in advance then b confirmed it only to email me indicating that I had asked to change it again I hadn t c didn t turn up on the day indicated and they only realised this when I called customer services d said some of the things I had ordered 3 months previously were no longer available e then delivered part of it the next day f then another delivery turned up a further 3 days late g 1 3 of the order was missing I would advise anyone to avoid IKEA like the plague The customer service staff are well-intentioned but largely hopeless

Never again IKEA PAX cabinet The planning appointment for the PAX closet in February was professional and pleasant Unfortunately 2 corner pieces of the closet were missing at the time of planning so I was advised that I should now call customer service each Monday to see if the two corner pieces were available Done After the 3 calls advised with an Ikea staff to order the already available parts No sooner said than Done Since then I continue to call the number of customer service every Monday to clarify whether the two corner parts are available i know this is insane Yay today finally the missing corner parts seem to be available after 3 month The employee immediately sent me a confirmation for the ASSEMBLY of over CHF 500 which I paid directly only to realize that I did not get a confirmation for the missing corner parts This was followed by 2 hours of quality-less phone calls with various employees of the IKEA CUSTOMER SERVICE Countless minutes in waiting loops sometimes they just hang up instead of offering me a solution I have leniency for delivery bottlenecks due to the global economic situation However I have absolutely ZERO UNDERSTANDING for reactive and unprofessional behavior I expect proposals for solutions and no lectures NEVER AGAIN IKEA

I wish I could give -1 stars Never again I will use Ikea s suggested services to install a kitchen It has been a total disaster especially in terms of communication Here are the details We ordered a kitchen last November and decided to use Ikea s professional service to have it installed I pay for the goods and agree with the installer on a date at the end of February to install the new kitchen Come the week before the installation week I call the installer to check when he would show up the week after and he lets me know that several items have not been delivered Basically Ikea changed the order by removing lots of items WITHOUT EVER LETTING US KNOW Called Ikea s only number no way of directly calling the right place several times got promises of being called back nobody ever called me back So I go to Dietlikon and meet the same guy who worked with us to put together the order He assures me that all missing pieces will be delivered in time for the installation what a relief pew let s go eat some kotbullar So I demolish and waste the old kitchen and today the installer comes to start preparing the walls And you know what he tells me TODAY That ANOTHER key piece is missing Ikea says the piece will be delivered in April Can you believe it Sounds like I am making this up Never again I will use Ikea s professional services

Worst service I paid for delivery of the articles but had to carry myself Claim logged no answer
Order 1340508989 Article VATNESTR M mattress paid CHF 899 00 160x200 cm fest natur Artikelnummer 904 764 04The very lame and unprofessional company mandated by IKEA to deliver the order of 3700 CHF were rude left all the articles in the hallway where it was easy for them and refused to carry the big mattress claiming that it does not pass on the stairs After they left I called 2 friends and in 5 minutes the mattress was in the right place There is no email address to write to the lame IKEA You have to call and waste half an hour waiting on the phone Called waited logged a claim and never heard back from IKEA

Omnishambles - business as usual for Ikea
We recently made two orders with Ikea I ve never regretted using an online service with delivery more Time and money wasted First they had to make three trips to deliver the goods because the delivery people forgot items The delivery people spoke neither German nor English Each time they waste time with a 7am to 7pm slot So thats 3 days wasted Then when unpacking the next day I discover that the long weightbearing section was shattered It s solid wood so the force required is substantial In stead of replacing a single part or a single box it s numbered Ikea has to replace the entire bed Then it wants to collect and dispose of an entire bed Some commitment to the environment The support team is rude and offensive They are utterly unhelpful You really wonder if a chocolate teapot would be more useful The second order again forgot items This time a door so another day wasted Then we discover for the 3 units they supply only the legs for 2 a failure of the ikea system When we call to clarify we have an advanced artificial intelligence driven system is the passive aggressive statement from their support team you should have checked the 40 line items to know if you had everything you needed The solution pay us more and pay for more shipping We had some custom furniture from other providers done last year It was pain free and effortless by comparison They met their commitments I wouldn t order from Ikea again

Horrible customer support
Horrible customer support They made three mistakes during the delivery and one product was out of stock we chose another one in replacement the price was lower We are still waiting to be reimbursed the difference since 3 months 7 calls and 3 emails nothing to do One of the most horrible customer service I ve seen in my life and career as I worked as CS too I can tell A shame for IKEA such a rich company that scams people Shem on you

Home delivery- Money waste Bad Service
I have placed an order paying 50 chf for home delivery and then they tell me that they will only deliver the goods on the street otherwise I should have paid 99chf Already the delivery price is ridiculous expensive If you go to ikea is to save money but then if you need to spend it for the delivery what s the point Endless I get the things to be delivered off the street and they pretend me to sign a paper Asking me to go downstairs with a 5 days child This is not acceptable and highly disrespectful IKEA even wants you to sign for IKEA family card where is the attention then to these family cases
