bought 2 units 285 00ea1 was faulty after finally getting a response from themitem was returned they have offered me a 99 00 refund on item as they say some screws are missingwhich is nonsense everything was returnedthey are saying only 99 00 refund as they cannotresell it ITEM IS FAULTY SHOULD NOT BE RESOLDmaybe that is why 1 off my items was faulty already returnedfinally if a couple off screws were missing does it come to 186 00Item only comes with 1 bracket which was attached to charger unit on return i cannot see how some fixings which i deny was missing can equal a 99 00 deduction i only used 4 11 2x8 screws which was my own to fix unit to wall

First it is my first and only one star review in trustpilot I hope I can post a photo of my Immersun here However please see other one star reviews here before buying or search a video for Immersun burnt connection I am not alone with the problem I should have watched the videos before I bought it I have Growatt inverter and a AXE 5 0L battery system Immersun worked seamlessly with my system Not many diverter can operate well with battery I have to say they did good job for that Unfortunately after two years I smell something was burning and coming from the immersun After opening it I found the live cable melted Looked more carefully the chips around that are melted too The blue and black chips were melted and bonded with the green cable parts I had to break the green plastic to release the cable Actually I feel lucky it could cause much bigger problems A melted live cable is no joke I spent 517 00 I am sure I could not save that much money in two years Obviously the design is faulty Avoid buying anything here UPDATE Immersun requested my details through trustpilot few days ago After providing my name email phone number and order number I hear nothing from them Instead they have enough time to write a long reply here They just proof themselves how they would treat their customers

I purchased this immersun diverter in Sept 2022 to replace my previous immersun unit This has now failed but at the time of purchase I believed it came with a 3 year warranty not true Having spoken to their agents today they did offer to come out and try to repair the unit for 189 00 but with no guarantee of a fix My advice look elsewhere there are better options available

Worst customer support or I would say no customer support and the product it is the same like customer support just crap

PS You will need to configure your system correctly in order to use your EV Charger for manual RFID or plug play charging Until you have done this then you cannot use these functions this is not a fault with the product but an user error This is the message I recieved but no where in the instructions does it tell me how to do this The phone line is constantly engaged as well

My Immersun solar diverter has failed after 13 months and there is no flexibility or goodwill for either a free or discounted repair just a standard high price to investigate the fault with no promise of a repair It s the second such unit I ve had fail just outside of the warranty period It s very disappointing and I won t buy another It s too coincidental it makes me wonder if they are made to a poor standard or with cheap substandard parts so they have a limited life It it not unreasonable of me to expect electronic items to last for several years My TV does my alarm clock does my microwave does my radio does etc etc Why not Immersun units Why do they have short lives and fail just past the warranty period

Horrible service really bad experience end up with no money and no charger it is a joke company do not trust them at all

GO WITH CAUTION I Purchased my IMMERSUN unit just under a year ago with a thing called iLink The main unit seems to function okay however it needs to be constantly reset to start properly Also the ilink which I am led to believe we will allow me to monitor the device on my iPhone just does not set up properly I have TRIED TO CONTACT them now over a number of days with no response I suspect I m dealing with a computer bot - I would suggest strongly that unless you can verify if you are to purchase that you are going to have contact with the company then look elsewhere It s a very expensive piece of equipment and in reality I don t think it s underpinned by the quality of backup or technical support I think I ve given up with it and it s less than a year old I do feel now looking at the reviews that there were too many five stars I was LED TO believe that it was manufactured in the UK however I m not sure about that now as I look at the offices on Google Earth it doesn t look as though it manufacture in UK probably brought in from elsewhere- very disappointed Going to give them a little more time - I will look for aternatives though As an addendum to the previous review I ve kept trying to phone amazingly the reception call was different to the previous times however you put me through to a voice which told me to have a great day and they will get back to us as soon as they co
