Delivery late by 4 weeks

Delivery of new vehicle was late by 4 weeks due to Covid-19 Delayed on the day due to sat nav fault not picked up at PDI This was rectified at Kia No floor mats received which were requested September 2021 The service provided was good and efficient as always

No Car Mats

I was annoyed my lease car didn t come with any car mats Surely this would have benefited the car when it comes to be returned regarding wear and tear of the carpets I have had to buy some car mats myself Otherwise this would have been 5 stars rating

Very honest review

Every thing went okay Scott dealt with my order The car arrived when they said it would The only criticism is they give your details to a third party company called look after my car who do insurance products They bombarded me with emails and phone calls even after I phoned them to tell them to stop In the end I blocked there number

Staff are great

As usual with these things the staff were really helpful and easy to get along with I got a bit messed about with delivery dates and colours hence the 3 stars it meant I couldn t arrange pick up of the last car until the new one was actually on the doorstep Car is great now it s here Also i keep getting mithered by someone trying to sell me a service contract that I don t want

The application was simple and quite

The application was simple and quite straight forward process However I am a little disappointed in the service My application got approved on 2nd of December 2021 however I was told the car I have chosen is on back order and will take up to 6 weeks I wanted to get a car before Christmas and agreed to pay extra for a premium paint car which was in stock and will be delivered in 2-3 weeks But the delivery still took 6 weeks car was delivered on 12th of January 2022 I feel that I was mislead and made to spent extra for no reason

Be cautious about in stock adverts

I Ordered a car which was advertised as in stock and I was told it would be available for delivery in three weeks it finally arrived 4 months later Obviously the global semiconductor shortage was blamed but in this market you shouldn t advertise something as been in stock unless the stock is guaranteed

The car was great

The car was great apart from it arrived in a very dirty state externally and unfortunately it didn t look like we had just received a brand new car We took it to a car wash garage yesterday I appreciate the car was not from a local garage but maybe it would ve been an idea to have it cleaned up at a nearby petrol station prior to arriving at our door

Initially good but overall experience wasn t great

Very good and speedy initial service but the price originally given was notably different to the one I ended up with Very delayed paperwork and inaccuracies caused an unnecessary delay in me getting the car and when the car was delivered it had been driven 145miles to get to me and I then felt it was my obligation to take the delivery driver to the train station as we do not have a reliable bus service where I live

Pestered and let down

Sales kept offering me models that were not what I d asked for Was told delivery date then there was a week s delay resulting in being without a car When it did arrive in spite of being told it was a model comparable to my last vehicle the car has no CD player These are basics

Don t trust the delivery date

Delivery date changed 4 times 4 weeks I sold my car based on their information and had to borrow cars from family but ended up having to hire a car to get to and from work No offer to compensate their issues was offered to me They tried to say it was a logistics issue but the delivery driver said they had loads Thank you for your reply If that is the case about stock maybe you shouldn t say the car IS in stock and you will get it in approximately 2 weeks Again thank you for your reply Having worked in transport for 14 years it is really poor customer service to provide delivery dates if you really don t have a control of them With regards to no compensation due to your terms and conditions this may be the case but sometimes a good will gesture goes a long way to avoid people complaing on public reviews Again I appreciate the reply but I feel we ll have to agree to disagree With 14 years of experience in transport i was able to give customers delivery dates for items travelling 2500 kilometres Whilst I appreciate not all delivery dates were met due to hold ups of traffic break downs I was normally only out by 24 hours There is a huge differnence in being toldI d receive delivery in 2 weeks to then getting delivery 5 weeks The unless the car was on a slow boat from another country I feel my argument speaks for itself I m 100 appreciate the covid situation as I was part of the front line having left the transport industry in 2010 Having a family member who is a director in the car industry whose role within the business is car purchasing I m again fully aware of the struggles of car supply and demand Fundamentally my review is based on the issue of continuous changes in delivery date I would imagine the vast majority of customers would prefer a delivery date that is accurate rather than 1 that changes week on week Again I appreciate your reply as it shows you care somewhat although not enough to offer a goodwill gesture I appreciate that all delivery dates are estimates and you are clearly missing my points As mentioned previously there are delivery estimates then being out by 4 weeks I repeat 4 weeks Being out by 72 hours is acceptable as I appreciate in logistics things happen but 4 weeks even the most argumentative on the planet has to admit this is not acceptable as an estimate
