Used to do weekly shop there until they put up the prices every week there putting them up better off going elsewhere least you get vouchers n discounts Used to be great for the prices not anymore Rip off like the rest of them

Time Wasters

Bought an iron it stopped working the shop refused to take it back and gave a number to ring rang the number no response other than a voice saying that the number would not be answered sent in query via website and now over a week later confirmation arrives that they cannot find a replacement and now the shop will give the money back I suppose I was expected to go around for a week with non-ironed clothes I had to buy another iron in TESCO in the meantime Bad show poor customer orientation disempowered local staff

Multi buy Do the calculation LIDL Pastry multibuy one costs 80c and Guess What 3 multibuy costs 2 40 What a saving Lots of other examples in the pastry section just to save you money I don t calculate like that Misleading busy people who are alerted by the coloured price label and the expectation that a multi buy saves money Shameful

Disgraceful social distancing in Monaghan

Went to lidl in monaghan on Saturday 4th of April Have to admit there was security on door only allowing 1 in when 1 came out Inside a different story No such thing as social distancing There was not even that many people there but still they were stopping and chatting Special offers cluttering up the bottom of shop Other supermarkets clearing aisles so customers can move freely and efficiently The manager should be more involved with social distancing in his store and keeping his customers and staff safe I for 1 will not be back

Very discourteous checkout girl in Athlone outlet on Tuesday September 8th 2020 - no hello or thank you She did her job and chewed gum Wall-mounted sanitizer on way out of store empty of liquid - disgraceful in current climate

Bought Florabest Model FGS3 6 B2 IAN Code 289290 i e for cutting small hedge etc - start on off broke and tried to get it repaired was willing to pay for it - 13 emails later am told it can t be repaired because I m in Ireland and UK company to whom Lidl Ireland referred me told me we don t do Ireland Why bother with such labour intensive interaction to such little effect - and the LIDL customer experience promise on their web site say simplicity is key to our success In first email I sent I told them it was bought in France hence my willingness to pay if needed - customer service seems based solely on process rather than actually reading and understanding the customer issues

Disabled parking

I m very disappointed with the parking provided for the disabled Firstly there are far too few parking spots for us Secondly disabled parking should be close to the door with adequate reversing space Today I had to park at the furtherest point from the door You have a wonderful store but I will have to return to Asda where the disabled parking is perfect Sorcha Ni Uilcin

Overcharged at Lidl Childers Road

Just back from Lidl Childers Road Limerick checked my receipt and found that I paid twice for 2 items chicken breast 500g 4 59 and a block of cheddar 2 27 so basically I overpaid almost 7 euro for nothing the guy at the checkout was talking on his headphones at all times while scanning my items Very unprofessional I probably won t be back to this shop again
