Rude staff

Avoid this Company LYONS nothing but sharks even going to Sunny Sands 50 years as a child with my parents brought our own Caravan there 4 years ago to be told at the end of this season bye bye your van is to old even tho we renovated the Caravan new floors our own 3 piece ect new Decking at a cost of 4000 all to go all they are concerned about is sell Caravans and have no regard for the very people who are already paying the same ground rent as the new people arriving Sunny Sand is no more entertainment at the club is virtually non existent the swimming pool is a no fun Zone no slide no activity game miserable staff Boring says it all the site is like a building site where there putting ground plots down for new Caravans without a thought of the people having to look out on this concrete electric boxes waste pipes all over the empty plots I have to leave my memories behind as it s Sunny Sands no more giving them 18000 ground rent for the 4 years we been there so I have to say thanx for the memories of the old Owners Meads Family and bye bye LYONS we taking our money elsewhere who look after everyone not just the people they can talk into buying there Caravans onto pastures new AVOID

My family have been on Lyon s moelfre view for 23 years and 15 of those in our beloved family static caravan For Lyon s to take over our site and kick everyone and ourselves off due to the caravans ages When previous owners have never cared as long as caravans were looked after by the owners they were happy It s absolutely disgusting how Lyon s treat their customers who have been paying their bills to this site for so long and to just ruin families lives like this Especially when it s been our lives and we ve grown up here from a young age You ve hurt so many people all because you only care about the money you re getting And to make the site look more modern Vile people

Never Again

My wife contacted Lyons today to inquire about a dog-friendly caravan for our upcoming trip We were initially quoted 269 for a caravan but upon requesting a dog-friendly option the total cost inexplicably jumped to 400 for a gold caravan This left us confused especially since a standard dog-friendly caravan presumably at a lower price was apparently available To clarify the situation we contacted Lyons Unfortunately despite being promised a call back we haven t heard back from them We hope Lyons will address this lack of transparency regarding dog-friendly caravan pricing and provide a clearer explanation If they offer a solution that includes a standard dog-friendly option at the initially quoted price or provide a satisfactory explanation for the upsell we d be happy to adjust our rating

Very very rude reception staff

we recently stayed at Lyons winkupsEaster weekendArrived on the Friday myself husband son girlfriend and 2 children aged 10 2We was issued our keys for our caravanThat had been changed as the number was crossed out then changedWe booked a gold grade as we wanted the central heating due to the 2 year oldArrived at the caravan wasn t impressedI own 2 caravans at Blackpool silver gradeMy 2 are like Buckingham palace if yours was supposed to be goldNo decking no patio doorsVery badly marked walls in every roomCarpet was absolutely disgustingBathroom smelt mustyThe kitchen bin was very badly moulded at the bottom insideThe toaster didn t work cups were badly stained cutlery tarnished had to buy bleach to wash themAll night long trains running along the back off the caravan keeping us all awakeFriday evening we went in the entertainment room with our grandchildrenThe entertainment team were full on keeping the kids from sitting on the stagePity they didn t stop the children playing football on the dance floorWe were sat next to the dance floor so we could keep a close watch on the childrenI picked my drink up my husband had just bought next thing as I was going to take a drink and bang straight in my face with the ball causing me to drop the drink all in my hair and all down my clothesWasn t happy at allWe ended up going back to the caravan at 9pmWe checked out Sunday tea time as we couldn t stand the noise off the trains in the night time and wasn t prepared to sleep another night thereOverall we all enjoyed our time in wales only when we went offsiteAnd can safely say we will never return to winkups site againWendy marsh

Chav central scruffy will not return

When booking it mentioned no group bookings of more than six Nice quiet couple of days then about 10 families turned up Kids playing football near our tent Very noisy ball hitting the tent Facilities not great toilet and shower block looked wrecked by the time we left Not a good washing up area one sink and very smelly Stagnant water outside the women s toilet block Would not come here again very disappointed Have been to much nicer campsites Will stick with independent sites in future

Lyons doesn t care about your safety

The place is scruffy and is full of drunk stoned chavs Iv been to many caravan parks in diferent places but this place has a horrid chavvy atmosphere the adults and children swearing loudly The smell of marijuana was everywhere An I mean everywhere Strong smell all the time We had 6 children with us who were playing on the park another child unattended by an adult was on the park and punched my child because he was trying to stop him throwing gravel on the slide the child also called one of our other children a f ing n er then continued to say look at you your black are you king kong absolutely shocking the child was no older then 6 VILE We found the child s parents who responded by saying yeah he does use the N word like it was nothing the childs dad said nothing just continued on the slot machines If you re not a racist chav then avoid this place if you are a racist chav you will fit right in but don t forget your dole money the food isn t cheap Lyons Robin Hood Park in Rhys North Wales

No offence probably the worst carvan

No offence probably the worst carvan park I ve stayed in me and my family came up for a week and the park was a state The carvan we booked was a silver plus but it looks like we was staying in some cheap scate house and no offence it wasn t really clean there was no mop and no sweeping brush Took them 4 days to bring a sweeping brush and we asked for a mop but they said no it s health and safety which is a joke Was barley any pillows and the pillow cases and duvet covers were horrible and irritating didn t have any zips or buttons on it it was probably just two sheets stuck together We also didn t get told that the laundrette was down so we had to waste travel fare To go to lido beach to do laundry The staff and rude and miserable and the people that work here it s like they don t wanna work here The pub toilets through the arcades were absolutely vile and disgusting I couldn t really discribe it Please do not bring your family here it s a horrible place The outside was good like the entertainment and the days out
