Hell when you move out
Friendly getting you in hell when you move out We had a great experience moving in with Martyn Gerrard - they were fast friendly and when the landlord was delayed signing the contract they were very accommodating and let us store our belongings in their basement The problem came with moving out Their standard contract doesn t contain any Exit Clause so if you try and leave early for any reason you WILL be charged They also include a check-out fee where they essentially keep your deposit hostage until you fork out Even after all of that it took over 3 months to get our deposit back chasing them the whole time A nightmare If you re going to be renting the place for more than a year they might be worth the fuss tl dr nice getting you in charge you to leave and taken an age to give you back your deposit

We were looked after when moving in but nothing of the sort when moving out PPE was not properly worn to viewings no gloves masks under the nose etc I had to bring PPE up at the start to even be reassured that it would be worn They didn t communicate in the preferred method although I told them multiple times They didn t respond efficiently to emails They sent an email explaining I had to pay a check out fee which is now illegal when I queried it they removed it They didn t even confirm when a new tenant was found to allow us to be put at ease Luckily I had a great landlord who I could work with for the most part instead I would have been stuffed if they managed the property

Idk what to say Thieves untrustworthy not to be trusted They took deposit and we cleared that we have guarantor if the credit check fails and we declare everything to which they have said don t worry just pay deposit if check fails then you have guarantor in place only 20 min later got a call and they told tell me that I failed the credit check and they can t accept guarantor and also can t return my holding deposit I m shocked what to do go to police hire solicitor so this doesn t happened to anyone els Me and my girlfriend are expecting a baby too and we have canceled everything els waited till last moment to hear from them and this Very very sad and its very unjust3422 1 11 22 case noManager Tyler Gorman Renting agent Fatmir Dedei whom confirmed pay and if referencing don t pass he said we have guarantor in place Mill hill branchFollowing up they did call me and return my money but I m still homeless I have closed all my options and declare everything truthfully but still didn t get the house and almost lost my holding deposit

An average sometimes stressful experience
Honestly they were OK They sold our house for us but seemed very disorganised We worked with three different agents with no explanation as to what had happened to the previous two At one point things became critical when our buyers mortgage expired without anyone apparently noticing causing stress and threatening our chain I wouldn t say they were bad but the service we received was average verging at times on poor which made me wonder why we were paying them a higher commission compared to other agents Fairly disappointing expereince all in all Probably won t use them again in future

We bought and sold through Martyn Gerrard Mark and Annie were both friendly and efficient They took much of the stress out of the process which we really appreciated I would definitely recommend them for the Kentish Town area
