Categories john For companies Review of Miele john 7 reviews Updated 2 minutes ago Miele a name and brand you can trust with a cutomer care team to to match its superb products I have TWO mile vacuum cleaners both red S211 AND C1 cats and dogs pet hair both have never let me down no matter what the task Miele make quality vacuum cleaners that their rivals cannot match based on my experience I have had Dysons Vax Panasonic Shark all decent enough quality and performed ok but needed more maintenance than the Mieles The Miele suction on both the S211 AND C1 is just superb even when bags are full filters dirty these Mieles still do not lose suction unlike the others I have mentioned Superb products that leave their rivals gathering dust in the loft like mine are now Would only ever buy Miele vacuum cleaners again my tip is to change filters and bags regularly Mieles own ones are best and these machines will last forever Mieles customer care team also match the quality of their products just been talking to a lovely young lady from Miele Kathryn who was polite helpful and a credit to Miele so not only are their vacuum cleaners superb and a class above many of their rivals their staff members and customer care team are in my experience second to none too Kathryn If you want a quality vacuum cleaner that will last Miele is the name you can trust and if you want to deal with a company that looks after their customers then Miele won t let you down

After sales service - you will be waiting
The website say you can track your order there is no way to track your order After the online purchase i received an email confirming my purchase but 9 days since I placed my order not even a single email to advise the tracking details or if the order has even been dispatched I used the chat service and the rep couldn t help and asked me to call Miele Contact Centre The chat service is a waste of time because this is my 4th time to get some infor and I have been asked to call the Contact Centre every time I did call and follow up on my order I had ordered 2 items one got delivered but the other is lost and if I hadn t queried my order i would be none the wiser Another unit has been dispatched but again with no tracking details I am in the lurch I hope you can use my feedback to improve the service as I do rate the Miele products quite highly but the service needs to be improved

Miele service tech doesn t know how to fix washers or dryers They will still send you an invoice after not repairing your machines The phone customer service line is atrocious as they constantly disconnect you and give you the run around

Appalling Customer Service
We ordered a new fridge freezer On placing the order 14 August we were given a delivery date about a week away When the day arrived and no delivery it transpired that the order had not been put through to the warehouse so another date was set about 10 days later Today the delivery arrived but was damaged so was taken away and a new date was set for a weeks time We have been without refrigeration for over 2 weeks and on complaining we were offered a piddling 50 voucher to spend on Miele products Customer service could hardly be worse I awarded Miele a one Star if I had been able to it would have been a minus figure You have been warned DO NOT deal with these people

BIG FLOOD DISASTER IN VANCOUVER CONDO
BIG FLOOD DISASTER IN VANCOUVER CONDO I tried to give zero stars but not possible Our entire building in downtown Vancouver is equipped with Miele appliances as part of a developer package purchase for 293 units My 5 yr old laundry washer failed and flooded my condo and the unit below due to the automatic water inlet valves on machines staying stuck open Completely damaged the floors in my unit and the unit below Miele sent the service guy 10 days later who confirmed that the valves are faulty He said this problem is common It is now 3 weeks since that service visit and no response even though I m dealing with the president s office in Vaughn Ontario Miele spends a lot of marketing money to build up their brand but are completely incompetent when it comes to taking care of the problems and the customers There is a huge showroom across the street where I will be dumping off this 2500 piece of crap and buying a Japanese or Korean unit No wonder Miele has laid off 2000 people recently and moved their manufacturing to China and Poland Nothing German about this brand except the name Stay away from Miele I wouldn t keep a Miele if it was given to me Grossly overpriced for a pile of junk

Expensive cat and dog vacuum cleaner simply cannot cope the roller rapidly clogs and is impossible to clear without dismantling even without having to contend with pets it can t get even halfway around our house without overheating and cutting out after which it has to be left to cool for up to an hour before it can be used again So much for quality German engineering It s just stopped again ETA Thank you for your response I have emailed you as suggested Further ETA 04 10 24 On 12th September someone from Meile did call me but as I was driving he suggested that I call him back on the displayed number when I arrived home which I did Unfortunately the number was for a call centre and the bod was unable to transfer me to anyone in the appropriate team but assured me that someone would call me back as soon as possible Here we are more than three weeks later and I am still waiting for the call

DO NOT BUY A MIELE WASHING MACHINE What a dissapointment what a total waste of money I purchased a Miele washing machine 800 and tumble dryer 959 just 3 years ago There is just two of us both over 70 so not loads of family washing week on week I was hoping the machine would see me out unfortunaley i have seen it out 800 WASTED down the drain you might say Speechless DO NOT BUY you too will be dissapointed

Worst customer service ever
Worst customer service ever Both times the women at the other end English was not their first language They were very rude and twice cut me off I was trying to order a replacement hose for my Miele washing machine I gave up and ordered a basic one which was fitted by a relative Looking at other reviews Miele need to seriously look at their Customer Service Dept especially with the cost of their appliances Folk will look elsewhere

Lifetime customer no longer
Having always been a loyal Miele customer for all white goods I replaced an old broken Hotpoint oven with the Miele BP Clean Steel 6 years ago It stopped working on Monday with no error message showing I booked a repair for 170 00 call out I was shocked to be told the whole electrical timeclock unit had broken and that the cost was 506 60 so much for the so called great Miele build quality In future I will stick to buying less costly appliances which can at least be quickly replaced for less than a Miele costs to repair
