Understandably the wait time might be

Understandably the wait time might be longer as people are working from home during the pandemic but keyworkwrs and essential worker need this as it s essential for us to get around I called 3 times 2 times my queries had to be postponed because if system faliures and on the 3rd Time I wa number 19 in th que and had to wait 45mins to be sorted

this company is good at the sell

this company is good at the sell not so good when something goes wrong they mislead on mileage and cancel your insurance without adequate correspondence I wouldn t advise they may be cheaper in the initial sell but then ends up more expensive in the long run not good for young new drivers they should look after them not con them

Tough one to call

The advisors are awesome they help u out as much as they can The policy itself and the rules they have to stick to are shocking You get automated emails after taking a couple of drives As a first driver you don t really know how many miles your gonna be doing so you don t put a big number in at the start However once u start making a few trips here and there the emails start flying in which is a shame

I would have given 5 stars but I waited for 30 minutes before someone answered the phone I don t understand why you need customers to call in to verify the policy information if everything was already provided online Having said that the lady I eventually did speak to was very professional and extremely friendly

Overall review

Liked the company at first because I was able to ensure myself straight away and not have to do it through the phone But then the validation phone call was a nightmare as there was an 80 person queue which I had to leave work early just to get hold of you before 5 30 Other than 2 hours of being on hold listening to the music I was finally directed to somebody Staff are friendly

My problem is the amount of time

My problem is the amount of time waiting in the queue If you are only taking calls during office hours how am I supposed to get through It took over 25 minutes to get through and I only have a 20 minute lunch break Can you not give your customers the option to get a call back

took 3 days to get through to verify details which i think was pointless when you communicate via email asking them to call you they send an email saying your policy will be cancelled in 7 days causing much stress only used them as they came up the cheapest very poir customer service

comparethemarket price versus actual read all the T Cs

on the face of it comparethemarket list this as the number one for price but one hour later in the ordering process and having delved into the 11 pages of telematics T C s you find that there is a 350 charge for a telematics device whether its professionally installed or a self-install device you only find this out once you delve into the T C and even then you dont know if you will be sent a device or an engineer until you order so its a great hook imo headline price great but under the hood no better than anybody else also unclear on what the telematics records at first glance stuck with sterling easy simple explanation of the T Cs on the phone and ok price

Couldn t remember the post code and she wouldn t search for it using the policy holders name and address

Bad experience that was rectified in a professional manner

We had a bit of a bad experience and ended up cancelling the policy due to mileage issues but after a second phone call from the complaints department they took my comments on board and refunded a decent amount of the money we d paid so well done and thankyou it was much appreciated
