This Orthofit company is a total scam

This company is a total scam They will not take shoes back violating their own return policy Instead offering an absurd 20 discount on future purchase because returns hurt the environment or some total b s They are also not where or who they pretend to be I received a text from 91 country code which is NOT China purportedly from USPS that the return I sent back to Orthofit s Fairfield NJ address was being held at the post office and if I did not click on a scam link to update the address my package may be discarded Fortunately my bank already gave me a credit for the purchase since all USA financial institutions are already aware of the scam company listed on my bank statement as Orthofit Narre Warren Aus Scammers and thieves will never prosper

Tried returning winter boots with issues

I ordered winter boots with zips on the side When I received them and tried them on on just 1 foot for less than a minute I realized that the zipper does not work all the way to the top and the soles are so slippery on just carpet that they would never work in snowy or icy conditions According to the refund policy I should be able to return them if I am not fully satisfied Wrong Since I tried them on they were now considered USED They offered only 20 refund on the purchase price plus lucky me a partial credit on another purchase What a crock I will giving these to a charity Maybe someone can use them without injuring themselves on ice Never never buy from this company Scam central

Package never received no refunds

Yeah same as everyone else the site says american based company free returns blah blah blah I ordered my shoes in September its December 31st and they still haven t arrived Ive been speaking with someone in customer service but they refuse to give my money back period After ordering it took some time but there was finally a tracking number and I watched that tracking nunber move very slowly which is when I realized they were in China Then they just stopped moving I waited and watched and nothing So November I reached out and the guy got right back to me via email saying he d look into it He then got back to me December 14th explaining that the logistics team is investing and if found that package is indeed lost they d send out a new order This after asking for my money back So fine whatever at least they ll get me something shipped right No Its December 31st and nothing No email update no tracking nothing Someone here said they went to PayPal to get their money which is what I am going to go do now I too saw reviews that all said great things outside of their site I guess I didnt look well enough because there are SO many more on reddit and here that give one star and I am just one more of those 1 star reviews Don t do it

Bought 2 shoes for women s US size 6

Bought 2 shoes for women s US size 6 and they sent me both times EU women s size 37-38 which is equal to 6 5-7 5 US size What they sent me was closer to size 7 5 fit The first time I said the shoe is too big and please make sure you send me the correct size the 2nd time They ended up sending me the same wrong size shoe even when I said it was too big They find everyday to not refund you - even when they made the mistake TWICE Horrible company Like so many other reviewers I will TELL EVERYONE Orthofit is a SCAM

Unethical and deceitful

Unethical and deceitful I ordered one pair of shoes and was automatically charged for two pair I immediately tried to cancel the order but was told within five minutes on a Saturday that they could not stop my order as it has already shipped Orthofit refused to cancel my order so I had to go through the bank and cancel Customer service is a computer as response to emails are canned generic responses Do not buy from Orthofit

Two where accidently ordered

Two where accidently ordered emailed immediately Git a reply nothing could be done When order arrived since they were made in China not correct sizing Tried to send back no return info only email and was told would have to pay international charges of about 20 to 30 dollars with very strict info Afraid if I do send back will miss something in their return policy and not lose but items as well Quality is poor do not recommend this company at all
