Go to the experts - your employer is probably minimally informed

The HR team of my prospective employer were out of their depth with processing a DBS application for someone coming from overseas Nevertheless they presented themselves as the experts and we laboured for a month over the details of what to include on the form Once I realised that they weren t the experts I turned to Personnel Checks who are the experts Tasha who I spoke with was very patient and knowledgeable and immediately found solutions to the difficulties of how to fill in a DBS form for an overseas applicant She also provided further advice on related matters I cannot recommend Personnel Checks enough Don t let HR waste everyone s time

I cannot praise Personal Check enough They managed to produce my DBS certificate in less than two weeks which is truly amazing especially considering I have been struggling with another provider for over four months Personal Check is incredibly responsive genuinely helpful and clear in their communication They promptly answered emails explained exactly what paperwork was missing and Jamie even responded over the weekend to accommodate my rushed request Their team is courteous efficient and very personable making what could have been a stressful process remarkably smooth Thank you for such outstanding service

I feel like I was having a tailored and personal service throughout the application process Tasha officer never let me wait for the reply longer than a working day in case of to assist me further That s to say I had to wait for letters be sent to me by post during The line and support from personnelchecks never went off and applied the service whenever once I had the necessary letters sent back straight away Thumbs up for the timely response and professionalism in doing your job at the best of your ability for my case much appreciated
