Not happyI applied for new DBS and I emailed them that document they need but they said they not checked it Plus my badge getting expired 1st September 2021 Now I m have to get off from work because of them They don t checked the email That people sent to then

Nightmare experience

The whole procedure is very difficult for someone with limited experience of using laptops and smartphones and excludes and discriminates against those who do not because of age disability or poverty have access to these

Tricky to use on a mobile

It took quite a few goes they this to work on my mobile - wouldn t submit don t say why and no helpline offered

The process was unnecessarily

The process was unnecessarily time-consuming After providing photos of my ID docs passport and driving license I then had to fill in all the information from those documents and having done that I had to upload them I appreciate the need for thorough checks but surely there could be a more efficient process rather than providing the same information three times

Took 6 months to receive DBS

Process of applying was simple and they were responsive to complaints But it took over 6 months for my DBS to come through by which time I didn t even need it anymore Chased multiple times to no avail

it was hard to deal with document

review form sent by Jamie The email sent by them for service review was very polite and this review is not about Jamie nut the service it was hard to deal with document submission i kept saying i have a resident permit but due to all BRPS expired 31 12 2024 the system kept saying expired i was frustrated i went for e visa but they ask for picture how do you send online status by picture i had to take a screen shot hopefully i don t get a message saying id rejected

I sent my documents on WhatsApp number

I sent my documents on WhatsApp number given by the DBS but nobody even bother to checked for two days then I received an email about my outstanding documents so I did email It s delayed my application to process

Was recommended Personnel Checks by my new employer first time applying for one in my life Had a possible misunderstanding with an unamed member of their Personnel Checks Application Engagement Team for which I wrote a one star review about Was contacted within hours by their lovely Chief Operating Officer Alice who was very understanding of my point of view of the situation and helped me get through the rest of my application process Would love to bump this review to five stars but I am possibly going to start my new employment late due to the earlier misunderstanding We shall see what happens

DBS form

They was amazing with responding to my emails very quickly They tried to help as much as possible But they where a bit fussy with the evidence shown since there is only a few pieces of evidence a 16 year old can show
