Quoted 240 per month U must be joking

I heard good things about this company so I wanted to insure my dog with them However they quote me INSANE PRICES For the 7k annual limit lifetime cover they quoted me 240 pounds per month How is that even normal I looked on Reddit and other forums and nobody else pays that amount of money so I don t understand why I am getting his ridiculous quote for my mixed breed with no pre existing conditions

Untrustworthy

Please do not use this company they decided because my dog grumbled at the vet and that public liability would no longer be covered due to this he has no teeth If you read the cover now if your dog barks at people this is also not covered My dog was born with a slight leg deformation which doesn t bother him they look at the vet notes and take any excuse to get out of paying out even if was likely a virus that affected the dog having insurance is meant to give you peace of mind This company just gave me nightmares

Clearly PetPlan edit and manipulate their reviews as frankly they are awful Poor communication and will find 101 reasons not to pay - we had two policies with them for dogs - refused to pay out on a legitimate claim Lots of small print - this is a company whos only interest is to make money at your and yours pets expense Avoid there are alot better Companies out there

Do not use petplan avoid

Do not use petplan they take your money every month increase your costs every year and increase the excess you pay My dog has been quite ill recently and pet plan have not paid my claim and now I am left with a vet bill of over 7 000 Not at all happy and thinking of cancelling my plan what is the point of having pet insurance if they do not pay avoid pet plan

Expensive

I am sure it s easy to claim but the premiums are excessive and increase by double digit percentages each year this will be my last year with this rip off company and in my view they should be investigated by the regulator Update - thanks for your generic response given many times before when customers question price I will vote with my feel when the next massive price hike comes through for no reason

The worst company The free cover is a con

The worst company The free cover is an absolute con They only use it as a way to get you in I had a very sick puppy the breeder took out free cover I have constantly been told by breeder petplan would pay out so they were not interested I have been back and forward with this company only interested in my signing up to a payment plan All sorts of excuses from them about not paying out and so unhelpful Constantly requesting repeated information

Terrible insurance experience Despite adhering to their policies they treat you like a criminal demanding intrusive personal information like itemized call bills They use any excuse to avoid payouts even making a big deal out of whether you called the vet or not The stress is unbearable look elsewhere for an insurer that values you as a customer I strongly advise against choosing this company

Poor customer service

They have been very good the past four years but if you raise a complaint you ll be waiting up to 8 weeks for an outcome Customer service is woefully lacking - for a premium insurer The person on the phone will tell you 10 different stories On top of this a costly quote for a dog who has no pre-existing conditions or medical needs I m talking over double the price of other premium insurers It wouldn t be so bad if the online quote with them wasn t cheaper than the renewal quote Talk about treating loyal customers well
