Not ReliableGot relocated to Royston and enquired about a car and like one but due to busy schedule I requested that I am coming on Monday The salesman told me that you can hold car by paying 100 poundI paid by card and told them to hold the car for me after couple of hours the same persons calls me and says we sold the and will refund your moneyWhere is business ethics

Don t buy the warranty It s a total waste of money

They made sure my car is clean but didn t replace one of the rear VPN bulbs so while I was driving home from the garage and it got dark I got an error warning and had to fix it myself Since then both of the fobs have stopped working and now I have a gearbox issue I paid 300 for warranty and they re just ignoring me It s been over a week and I ve chased and still heard nothing The warranty company is owned by the owner of PONKO

Stay away brought car from ponko Warranty not worth paper it printed on After first week broke down 500 later week 3 towed to garage broken down again 4700 bill contacted ponko customer care bold tires engine leak all lights on all I can say is stay away disgusting Not Road worthy Be careful

Not a good service or car wasn t even serviced I waited 6 hrs at ponko office to receive a car not valeted nor serviced start stop doesn t work car now developed more issues now im being ignored See you in court ponko plus my local news paper is now investigating

STAY AWAY - OR GET PONKOD The worst company to deal with Wouldn t even give them the one star Paid a deposit online to secure a van Called up to discuss the test drive and pick up of the van they were happy to wait a week as i was going on shift Called to arrange the finance And another call from the company to confirm viewing next week today An hour later i receive a call from the company to tell me they had in-fact just sold the van to another customer today with some excuse that i would not be happy with the van condition as the air conditioning wasn t working and there was a leak in the passenger footwell which made it all squishy nome of which previously mentioned Apparently a deposit no longer secures a car and they sell it anyway - seems ive had a lucky escape especially as they tried to sell me a different van

Avoid

Don t waste your time and money here We put down a 500 deposit on a car nearly 2 weeks ago and been told today they have found another fault with car and it will not be ready for another few days We knew the deposit was non refundable but waiting 2 weeks is completely unacceptable Looking at other reviews on here others were only charged 100 deposit If you find a fault with the car on a test drive do yourself a favour and walk away do not leave a deposit

Ponko is notorious for scamming people elegantly they intentionally hide issues in the car especially the serious ones once they get the money they will avoid any accountability and find ways to blame you and scam you Don t be fooled by the niceness of the salesman Save your hard-earned money and avoid buying from these scammers

Very disappointing experience I recommend avoiding Ponko altogether If you do buy from them be sure to get a thorough inspection from a local garage right away as their warranty holds no real value The courteous treatment during purchase doesn t last

AVOID AVOID AVOIDWe purchased a car from PONKO 30 11 2024 51426 miles It had an MOT no advisories on 12 11 2024 51297The car went back to PONKO at the start of December 2024 as a number of issues were found after a day of ownership no air con front windscreen did not clear heated seats not functioning correctly tyre pressure monitors showing wild readings spare key did not work - the check list was clearly not completed just printed and supplied PONKO collected the car and sorted which was appreciated but left us concerned about what else did they not check tell us about We took a 12 month warranty at the time despite full Nissan servicing and no advisory on MOT the last service only having done a few thousand miles As part of the warranty it stated we much keep the servicing to schedule so it was booked in to FiSH BROTHERS NISSAN on 27 01 2025 We also noticed a vibration coming from one of the wheels and rattle sound from suspension after a few days of ownership but wanted experts to check Nissan completed a major service and completed a thorough health check Some of the findings of which they stated were a little baffling given the MOT clean bill of health only 1500 miles ago An MOT completed by there own garage as the issues found in there expert opinion massively predates the wear and tear this little mileage would contribute Nissan highlighted 5 advisories that would cost 2500 to fix When PONKO were contacted they made it clear that advisory items were not covered by them OR there warranty which is fair BUT these advisory items were not picked up in there OWN MOT garage with one mysteriously disappearing despite being an advisory 12 months prior NOR highlighted or picked up on there own pre-inspection report Read the reviews and look at how many cars have to go back Question everything just because prior MOT advisories are not on your new MOT does not mean they have been fixed something ordinarily would be fair to assume - PONKO do there own MOT with a vested interest to come back clear as makes selling a car easierThe check list is printed completed they are not manually checked off - just because it is ticked to say checked multiple reviews highlight the same THE CAR HAD TO GO BACK My gut said don t buy it - should have listenedSee you in the small claims PLONKO
