Absolutely disgusting The appeal process is to make sure parkingeye Have issued the ticket correctly they don t take into consideration any sort of emergency A phone call to 111 with proof call logs About my Epileptic son Who was due in Hospital the day after who isn t well at all We ve been through hell and these cowards with no heart just don t care about anybody You can t even talk to them on the phone

No common sense from POPLA
I appealed a parking ticket and hoped that POPLA will be a reasonable judge of the situation Couldn t be more wrong They didn t look at all at the wider situation and had no regards for my evidence despite proving that I was not in the wrong These people from POPLA have lost any ounce of common sense

Not Transparent Pointless
Takes weeks to get a response and is not transparent it s not only that I lost my appeal it s that I felt completely ignored and frankly feels totally unfair there is no right of response Pointless organisation

I paid for my parking ticket for an hour I also still have it as proof I left before the hour was up and still have no idea why I was given a fine You have seen all the evidence and are as corrupt as the parking company I will be seeking advice and will NOT be paying a penny for something I most certainly did not do I will now be seeking compensation for all the stress I have been through due to your company I hope you are happy Disgusted beyond belief

Dumb POPLA staff
My gym s tablet where you enter your reg to get 2h free parking was frozen I recorded it with date and time stamps and showed POPLA The assessor acknowledged the video yet other gym members were able to enter their number plates at around the same time This indicates that the terminal was working What So I m just randomly recording me tapping a screen for the fun of it There were about 3 cars in the parking lot at the time 01 20 AM but I don t see how that s relevant anyway Then she said I should ve known that I m breaching terms and conditions so I have to go park my car elsewhere as if it s the customers fault that their 2010 equipment is faulty Anyways they side with Parkingeye regardless so don t bother

The appeal process is not honest nor helpful nor constructive
This review process asked me to be honest helpful and constructive Suggest POPLA and Minster Baywatch try the same MB claim that POPLA is independent but it is a membership association paid for and constituted by the members i e MB so claiming to independent is a bare faced lie Having given me 28 days to appeal they took more than 28 days to reply with a foregone conclusion which is either arrogance or incompetence My crime was to put my registration in for my wife s car a simple mistake which I proved beyond reasonable doubt with V5s and a copy of the receipt ticket POPLA acknowledged this but still found against me on the basis that the car had the wrong registration on its ticket Really Der This is neither helpful or constructive and the whole process is far from honest

Don t bother waste of time
Don t bother waste of time They re suppose to respond relatively quickly took them 3 months to reply Just to have a 5 minute look no investigation no common sense and no ability to comment They accepted a parking company s photo of their sign as acceptable this photo obviously doesn t show the sign is 15 foot up in the air and placed facing a direction you don t see it driving in to the car park Waste of time

POPLA is not useful for drivers it s a shame
I understand that this organism was created to avoid abuse not to encourage the parking owners to do more In my case staying in a parking lot for 7 minutes instead of 5 minutes who decides that time is 5 minutes or 6 or 7 and how 50-space parking is a small one if nothing is written on the parking panels There is no time limit to enter to look for a parking space If you can t find a parking space or don t feel safe you have to pay for having to enter the parking lot And POPLA decided that 5 minutes is enough to get in and out in a very heavy rain I repeat without any inscription on the parking signs about the time allotted for the search The professionalism and the law respect are badly broken by the POPLA It s a shame for this name

Waited beyond their review time Chased and was told they had a backlog I then had my appeal declined despite the car parks being incorrectly marked on RingGo and having already paid a parking fee So they can be slow the parking firm can incorrectly mark their car parks with their payment partner and I get to pay 100 Amazingly one of the grounds for the appeal being declined was that the only source of income for the parking operator is PCN
