Very disappointed

I would have given no star if I could We bought a 2019 Skoda from Pulman s Gilesgate It had a few marks on and we where told they would be sorted when the body fix man comes in on Tuesdays I do believe we where deliberately made to fix our eyes to the small scratches so as to not notice a big problem on the roof Any we got the car after the small scratches where supposed to have been done Then the rain washed of the so called fix of the small scratches od maybe it was just tipex that had been used not paint Anyway my husband washed the car and there it was on the roof a big scratch but the paint had not been scratched off We took it back a few times to be told they would fix it good job we didn t hold our breaths They just stalled till the time to return it had gone Now they are telling me the mark was not there when they had it Rubbish I ve asked for the picture the took when they got the car showing the registration of course other wise it could be any car I never thought I would get done by this firm a second time We bought a car from Pulman s VW at Newton hall 15 years ago Nothing wrong with the car untill it got a service I didn t thing all Pulman s dealers where the same The person we seen at Gilesgate Pulman s was a nice young man or so I thought Be aware of told o it belonged to an old man or women cos that should ring bells to not touch it Iv been sent an email informing me that the bad scratch mark on the roof was not there before we got it so not there problem So I rang the previous own who told me yes the mark was there when he put the car in for a different car from Pulmans Well well I have rang Pulman s and told them this I m now waiting to hear what they have to say

Made the mistake of choosing a T ROC

Made the mistake of choosing a T ROC automatic delivered in May 2021 From Pullman in Durham A new car with just over 2000 miles on the clock This weekend the gas struts completely failed the boot lid will not stay up so can t lift my wheelchair or walking aids out without the boot falling on my head Spoke to service staff was first accused of tampering with the boot in some way then told that most people can manage with a car with a slightly defective boot Spent the last two days and trying to talk to and emailing the service manager Found staff rude and offensive will NEVER set foot in a Pullman Showroom again

Why can t I contact the actual garage

Why can t I contact the actual garage Keeps going to a call centre My can t won t lock or open The alarm goes off whenever I open the doors with the key The infotainment system keeps re-setting and loses all of the presets and stored items Basically can t drive the car and car won t lock I need the car looked at straight away and can t get in touch with the garage Absolutely no customer service and no interest in my situation

Booked a hire car months in advance for a family holiday in the UK Received an email 4 days before I was due to pick up saying it was cancelled They said there was a problem as I was a British citizen living in Switzerland with a Swiss driving license Utter rubbish have hired many cars before Wanted to support a local company and not one of the big hire companies - never again with this one

SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE

I bought a new VW Tiguan here in 2005 and had it serviced here every year since Following my last service in August September I expressed a keen interest in purchasing a brand new one Salesman looked at me vehicle and told me he d get back to me with figures to change to anew one Almost six months later he has not contacted me Absolutely shocking customer service and judging by similar comments it seems to be the ways these people operate Who is running this business How are they still in business Is there a Mr Pulman Is he aware f the way his staff are running his business into the ground

Poor Customer Service warranty not as good as you would expect

I took my just two year old Skoda in to Pulman Skoda Durham a few weeks ago for its service During the service they reported that one of the two rear disks was corroded and both disks needed replacing Although there was a clear fault as the disk and pad were not properly aligned Pulman Skoda insisted that this was normal wear and tear and ANY brake issue was not covered by warranty I can only show my displeasure by taking my business elsewhere However What I find totally unacceptable is that three times Pulman Skoda said they would contact me to discuss my concerns but did not the last time is was the Service Manager who failed to call me back Not impressed at all

AVOID This garage invalidated my rust warranty

AVOID I would avoid using the cramlington branch as they bought this of silbury After serving my car they have invalidated the rust warranty by not checking the Skoda online bodywork check box Their website said car service include all warranty checks and the job sheet said they had done the car body checks But they did not update the skoda website and Skoda are basically saying I have no rust warranty now because of this Skoda are currently liaising with them to try and do the decent thing and pay for the tailgate rust to be fixed which they are refusing Skoda say garage at fault and will not budge

Booked in on 2 3 2024 my Pulman bought

Booked in on 2 3 2024 my Pulman bought Skoda Fabia 1 2 tsi 2016 for simple battery change and recode 60 Sales lady wrote on job sheet customers own battery when booking me in for 4 3 i took the afternoon off and arrived at reception After waiting half an hour i was bluntly told it couldnt be done My brand new Bosch 5year warranty Stop Start battery bought specifically for my car was not Skodas own part and they would not do the exchange I was left speechless I had booked it in took a day off and they let me do a 60 mile round trip to Pulmans dealership to leave me with a failing Skoda Battery I was So angry They did Not deliver a great customer experience I could have took it to any other garage much nearer home but i wanted it taken back to the Skoda dealer it was bought from No warning no help Left in the lurch

Skoda yeti dog guard fitting

First their was a problem fitting a dog guard to my car then there wasn t no clear explanation what the problem was Found out after fitting it was the type which is drilled into the car panels not told this when booking fitting so no chance to chose another option Horrible fit leans into boot and rear seats seem to have been adjusted to fit the guard Emailed my dissatisfaction no reply after a week emailed again and got nice polite young man who said he had passed on the info and would do so again Got a phone call but phone did not connect when I answered Rang back immediately got and answering machine and left a message Rang again in the afternoon and left another message Still waiting for a reply Very disappointed as other work done on my car has been satisfactory Would advise going else where to have a dog guard fitted
