We had a gift voucher for a dog friendly break The accommodation was lovely but to be told upon booking that the voucher value towards the stay is less than what was paid for the voucher is completely fraudulent We therefore having to supplement a significant amount of money to be able to use the voucher at all It would have been cheaper to book directly with the host On the website the supplement per dog per night was also incorrect and was higher than stated The voucher is completely fraudulent in its advert save your money and book directly as you will save money

Purchased a 100 hotel voucher for my wife she checked the hotels Web site first to view the property etc She booked a large room with garden view B B with breakfast extra charge and paid 40 extra for early check in and a late checkout at a total cost of 155 So with thought all we have to pay was 55 however when we went via Red letter to redeem the voucher it only offered a standard room with breakfast which they claimed was free and it came to 195 And that s without the 40 extras Why

I was very grateful for the gifted red letter day vouchers my husband and i received but what an absolute nightmare system to use Never again Pick what you want get a voucher with your voucher then you need to get a reference number before you can think about booking and on and on and on we have also had Hoseasons vouchers chose a break go to payment add voucher number job done so simple Sorry but too much faffing with red letter The experience we chose a Spa break was lovely couldn t fault that

Was gifted a voucher for sparkling afternoon tea advertised as having choice of 260 venues Chose one no longer available Chose another also no longer available Eventually chose another with a 20 upgrade was sent a new voucher code pin Went to redeem this and am directed to another list of upgrades my choice of experience nowhere to be seen Just let me book the experience I have paid for for god sake Worst experience company out there Will never use again

I feel very sorry for the CS team
I feel very sorry for the customer service team The website is buggy and the packages aren t as advertised I found this out on two separate offers For example if you book a spa day with afternoon tea the spa is in Hastings and the afternoon tea is in Bournemouth I m not sure what s going on with the quality control of the offers If you re buying as a gift for someone bare in mind you probably won t get what you bought

Very Disappointed
We had no choice in our treatment we were told that we had to have the massage having no choice and I really needed a pedicure and daughter wanted a facial We had no choice in the meal we had to have the healthy salad considering that cost 310 00 I was very disappointed it was not a voucher it was a red letter purchase and I was so looking forward to the fish and chips meal Not value for money I could have ventured else where for a massage and went out to dinner for that cost I was not even allowed the healthy drink juice advertised on the salad option which was printed on the menu I had to spend a further 18 00 for a plate of chips and a piece of bread In total 328 00 spent We were not offered our complimentary drink and saw others with theirs so my daughter requested it Not a very good experience considering we looked forward to this for months one of my 60th treats Needless to say I will not be recommending to friends or rebooking I was for my 60th and my daughters birthday very very disappointed

We were supposed to be in the air for about 12 mins we were in the air for no longer than 5 mins There was thick low cloud so vision was limited The script from the pilot was There s Cumbernauld that s the Ochil Hills over there the Forth road bridge is over there but you can t see it today Then we landed Staff were very nice but couldn t help thinking must be very bored When we landed I remember thinking I didn t realise watching paint dry was so exciting

Won t be using Red Letter Days again Awful service
After I have sorted out the experience I ve already paid for I will not be using RLDs again The whole process has been a shambles from advertising experiences that aren t even available anymore to not being able to get through to someone the whole website and it s process for booking onto your experience has been a farce There are plenty of other websites that offer the same that are much better to use and I would advise others to have a look into Virgin Experiences Days or Buyagift before booking anything through Red Letter Days

Terrible customer service
I have been interested in booking an experience for a couple of weeks now but just had a few additional questions that I couldn t find answers for in the FAQs I didn t want to pay lots of money without feeling confident about what I was paying for so I contacted Red Letter Days using the live chat feature on their website the only option they give you to contact them I have tried this twice now and both times I have been sat waiting for a response that never came There is no phone number to call and no details of the partner who is providing the service so I can t even check their website for more information It s like they don t want my money
