Absolutely shocking service

Absolutely shocking service Broke in the first month of having it and they told me to send it back to them so they could fix it 2 months later bag still isn t here and they ve told me they couldn t fix it and would send it back broken was told it was my problem Never ever buy anything from them they will lie and take your money

Very disappointed Broken locks handle

Locks broke on both brand new cases we have to now use padlocks to lock them Slide up handle fell apart while rolling on uneven surface Will NEVER buy samsonite again very disappointed

No delivery after 2 weeks

Ongoing issues with having this delivered by UPS in London and still waiting after 2 weeks No choice but to cancel the order after being told UPS are having difficulties but now I have to wait until it s delivered back to Samsonite another 2 weeks before my refund can be processed

Cheap flimsy construction Samsonite cases aren t as reputable as they once were

I bought a Stakd spinner expandable case from Samsonite I d bought cases from Samsonite previously and was a return customer based on the quality I d previously experienced However on first use of this case the hardware somehow suffered a huge dent in its exterior I would expect this to be a potential issue with cheap cases bought from a supermarket but this was a case that cost over 200 and the case had not been treated recklessly And again this happened on its first trip I sent it to the repair company as it is under warranty they say repairing the dent would cause stress marks on the casing and so isn t possible This reflects the quality of materials Samsonite are now choosing to use What will the case be like with more than one use The case s proven quality doesn t reflect its cost which is hugely frustrating I don t recommend Samsonite s bags I ve learned that with so many other suitcase brands now on the market customers don t need to remain loyal to Samsonite the quality of their products has decreased and they are overpriced for how flimsy and poorly constructed they are UPDATE Samsonite advised me to send the case to their repair centre for review which resulted in the case receiving further dents to the exterior shell and rubber which Samsonite advise me is to be expected with their suitcases

Warranty Policy is a joke

Bought a Samsonite suitcase and the zippers broke while I was traveling in the US I couldn t bring the broken suitcase on the plane and had to buy a new one Samsonite is now refusing to honor the warranty because I couldn t send the damaged suitcase even though I have dated photos of the damage I had to leave it behind Do they expect customers to pay to ship a broken suitcase back on top of replacing it abroad Very disappointing product and service

What an absolute mess

What an absolute mess Samsonite needs to train their store clerks how to offer efficient and effective customer service and on top of that don t get irate with the customer who is already being INCONVENIENCED These 2 clerks at London St Pancras absolutely have to be trained again Pro-tip- You swallow your irritation till the customer leaves but throughout you ought to be the best look for the brand And definitely not just send the customer off and say there s nothing you can do and leave it with the customer to solve But really Samsonite I purchase items in-store another location had the receipt emailed because I like to be kind to the environment and now been to another store to return because it was convenient at the time but oh no low and behold the system isn t taking the receipt smh So one has to travel back to original store of purchase Really in the age of AI AWS and businesses being technologically forward Like seriously Smh

Worst customer service and bag quality

My 6 month old samsonite back pack developed a tear in the lining of the side pocket It meant my wallet fell out from the main compartment I lost money credit cards driving licence residence cards and visas I was travelling long haul flights at the time so this was a huge inconvenience with no cards and no money I contacted samsonite to inform them of a defect in their relatively new back pack However the reply was I had to send the defective backpack to them at MY OWN COST so they could investigate a potential design problem no thanks Samsonite and never again

Very poor quality and customer service

I have been a loyal Samsonite customer for around 20 years but my recent experience has left me incredibly disappointed I purchased a Samsonite backpack that after just a couple of months of light use started showing clear signs of damage on the shoulder strap The fabric is fraying at the joint between two material types and the stitching is intact it s obvious this is a material or design flaw Despite providing detailed photos and explaining the issue I was told that this was not a manufacturing fault which I completely disagree with given the condition of the bag and how recently it was purchased To make matters worse I was then told I would need to pay for the collection service to send it for inspection The turnaround time for the inspection is a staggering 4 weeks That s an incredibly long time to wait for a resolution especially when you rely on the item for daily use For a nearly new bag this seems entirely unreasonable I also have a new full set of Samsonite roller cases that are showing the same handle fault on both cases despite being used once Luckily these were purchased at Costco and I can rely on their excellent customer service I expected much more from a reputable brand like Samsonite especially when it comes to customer service and standing behind their products Clearly their products are not made to the previous high standards The attitude of the customer service agent appeared arrogant and was failed to engage and discuss when further photographs were provided I won t be purchasing from them again and I highly recommend others think twice before making a purchase Very disappointing

Paying for both crumbling handles to be replaced with wrong colour size and brand of handles

The Samsonite suitcase I bought in LA to get my very young family home from a long tip had only been used the once before both handles crumbled The plastic snapped in multiple places when pressed I asked the Oxford Street London Samsonite repair store to replace the handles as we need a functioning case Samsonite parts are not universal I was told and this meant being served with the wrong colour replacement handles the wrong size of handles they stick out and with handles with another brand logo on them Although my bank statement shows I purchased the case because it was not bought in a Samsonite store Samsonite s warranty is invalid therefore I was charged for the handles For a high price item this is poor performance

lost in mail have not gotten back to me

I ordered a product over 2 weeks ago it ended up lost in the mail and I was asked either if I wanted a refund or re-order and they have not gotten back to me after that and it s ben a while now
