Update on 2 11 23 following to the comment below left by the Samsonite Team I contacted them via email providing evidence of the issue They agreed to replace the damaged suitcase with a brand new one offering a great range of options the model I had is not available in the UK So after a rocky start a positive outcome well done Samsonite Original post now outdated The warranty is not worth the paper it is written on The hard shell of my new Samsonite suitcase cracked near the wheels after only 6 months 4 trips Samsonite Westfield refused the warranty claim saying that the damage has been caused by a third party - but this is a carry-on suitcase so it has never been checked in and always handled with care So based on my experience forget about the warranty promise if considering the purchase of a Samsonite item

I went for a repair of a zip of my suitcase at Samsonite Oxford Street I was treated well and the quality of customer service was excellent My suitcase zip was repaired within 30-40 minutes of my arrival I was looked after by MV

I have a large Samsonite suitcase and one of the hinges broke I checked the internet and thought the best shop to go to was 251 Tottenham Court Road Having arrived at Bond Street station l headed off to Tottenham Court Road But they don t have a repair desk there and they directed me to Oxford Street The samsonite shop opposite John Lewis is completely AMAZING So helpful and efficient and overthought the repair desk is closed on a Sunday he said my repair was simple and he did it Thanks so much MV It was such a positive experience and the customer service was fantastic Samsonite should make it much clearer that the repair desk is only at this shop as it would save customers time energy and money That is why l have reduced the rating definitely not because of the service at the Oxford Street shop The availability of the repair shop would definitely make me buy samsonite goods again

When I decided I needed the best I knew samsonite was the best I went for the Ecodiver I love it what a beautiful looking thing It s incredibly robust and as a man on the go i have fell in love with it I can t give it a 5 star because it s not perfect there are little things that let it down Don t get me wrong I m absolutely head over heels in love with it but it could be a little better Ucb c apple plug really needs a home in the bagProtection between the iPad holder and your back you back it rounded and I worry the iPad will bend with the weightThe little hang loop broke on the first day but I m no bothered I needed something I can trust and I can What I put this bag though is brutal I can honestly say I don t think there is anything better
