I had been a blind loyal customer of SGB for over 12 years 2010-2022 until my last order with them in March 2022 and then I figured out that I lost thousands of dollars by trusting their prices as the best prices offered in Canada I never tried to find out other Canadian online bullion dealers who do exist and offer way lower prices than the SGB SGB s greediness for profit went overboard in 2022 compared to the spot prices so I started to look elsewhere Thankfully I have found five more Ontario-based dealers who offer 100 genuine metals up to 75 lower per ounce of gold and 5 lower per ounce of silver with one super fast same-day express shipping and even better customer service then SGB I regret that I never tried to look for an alternative source so don t be lazy like me and find at least few cheaper sources if you want to save your wealth Good luck

I ordered some silver but they sent a package that was empty so I refused the delivery Now they expect me to wait weeks before they address my order or refund It is an internal issue has nothing to do with me

I just purchased 10 silver Royal Canadian bars I was excited to receive them since I waited until the spot price had dropped and this site had the best price They were listed as new and uncirculated When they arrived I couldn t believe it they were all secondary market bars most were 2016-2018 they were all scratched it was difficult to read the serial numbers on a couple and one was so tarnished that it had a green tint to it I immediately called after opening them and was transferred to sales He admitted they were secondary bars and even said others had complained and management was aware I told him I wouldn t have ordered if I had known this They offered me 200 toward a future purchase These secondary bars sell for an average of 100 less per bar on other sites This is false advertisement and deception I wished I could post photos Don t trust this company you ve been warned

They have always included small chocolates in their orders My most recent order I asked for a few extra chocolates they didn t include a single one

Service has really fallen off
Ordered 4 2 23 and didn t receive until 4 11 23 after 8 00pm They changed from FedEx to UPS and was supposed to be delivered before 7 00pm They are complaining that they are really busy and want me to feel sorry for them because their business is booming

The picture of the coin and the coin I received were very different I emailed and requested a refund and I was told sometimes the rounds are enhanced and I would not receive a refund The round I received could have been purchased elsewhere for 4 dollars an ounce less Extremely disappointed Will never buy from them again I wish I could add pics for the review to judge for yourself

The same issue I have as always and that is with the shipping of my orders This order was supposed to have been delivered the next day as per tracking information but was delayed twice with no explanation and had to wait for monday and did not arrive till 2 hours after end of business day

I ordered 52 silver coins on april 2nd 2020 my 1st experience with this vendor received 42 coins on Apr 21st 19 days I had to talk to the customer service rep said they will review video next day received an email said will send me the remaining I received the remaining on Apr24th asked why there was this undue processing error and escalate to management for comment didn t receive a response IMO this is not a rocket science business the end product is already made it is a straight forward transaction of exchange between the end product and money I paid as I didn t receive a followup response I believe error will continue to happen therefore I advice potential clients to consider and shop at your own risk btw I never had problem with PM orders from my local bank whom I believe have much better risk management and compliance procedure

UPS didn t get a signature AGAIN
Everything arrived in good condition However UPS again did not try to get an adult signature as required and just left it on the front step Very bad practice
