Think twice

Had a 6 month treatment plan Unfortunately durning the treatment experienced a gum bleeding several times Heard about the bad reviews especially in Poland and I live in UK thought it can t be that bad Tried to reach out for help as my bite was feeling not right right upper and lower teeth were not aligned together which was causing discomfort The first request for a touch up aligners was not accepted had to argue with the company but finally received the touch up And again bleeding gums If I know I d spend a bit more for a Invisalign to have that peace of mind and better customer service Now I m considering getting a bottom aligner or a braces from somewhere else as the bottom teeth don t look as promised

I found Alty very professional and friendly and explained each step of the process very precise and clearly Following up from this review the company went into bankruptcy the month after leaving me out of pocket and no service at all

Changed my mind after the consultation

Went in for a consultation but left feeling like I dodged a bullet The dentist behaved more like a salesperson rather than a professional orthodontist - she was way too keen for me to sign up and brushed off my concerns with really generic replies Then I was handed a bunch of freebies I didn t really need like lip balm teeth whitening sample tote bag The experience felt mildly unprofessional I would rather pay more and get my aligners via real dental practice

I ve been really put off the sales approach to request feedback on your first experience rather than the treatment after completion I was asked in person with a QR code and via email As a result all the reviews talk about the initial consultation and you have to trawl through for customers talking about the final result which is less flattering It s made me rethink progressing My initial visit was great but that s not the service I m buying Love to hear more about end result

NOT FOR SENSITIVE GUMS The aligners work however they are not designed properly to not damage your gums What you get is in fact an aligner which covers your gums often leaving them sensitive and sometimes bleeding I already have gum recession and afraid they have made it worst More expensive treatments instead design the aligner so that it perfectly fits on the shape of the tooth without going over the gum

Disappointing

I ve been on night time retainers for over two years and while my teeth are slightly straighter I haven t got the results I was promised My lower teeth are still uneven with one of them still poking out I ve had three touch ups and they ve all ended up the same with the retainers not fitting properly Beware before signing up make sure this service is right for you as it s very expensive especially if it ends up not working

It could have been better

I was made to wait for an hour from my scheduled time During the visit I felt rushed due to which I was only able to ask a few questions and couldn t be bothered to ask more questions as I wasn t being given the chance to think and absorb the information at normal pace Also I felt I was being pressured into buying the treatment straight away rather than giving me the opportunity to think for a couple of days and get back to them

Aligners made my tooth wobbly

I paid over 2 000 for my aligners and I used them as instructed using the same pair of aligners for longer than the minimum suggested period They were working great until one of my bottom middle teeth became wobbly I was told this was normal but after a few weeks of still having a wobbly tooth I panicked and stopped using the aligner My teeth have all returned to their original state and I wish I hadn t wasted my money

Kicked out of account

Just realised today no access to services anymore kicked out of my account as Smile has gone into bankruptcy I was lucky enough to have started my treatment but sadly no dentist check ins or retainers available A shame as this seemed to be a good product

Initially a great experience ending a bad experience

Initially a great experience the dentist was very nice and helpful the service was great and very attentive Finished the initial treatment but wasn t happy with results for which a new plan was arranged However when this plan still didn t yield expected results I contacted them again to get sorted No answers to emails and phone number wasn t answered eventually got a response to say I need to pay more but when I replied saying that per the agreement if I had retainers any corrections would be free I still haven t had a response over 3 months later I would avoid using again
