All went as planned

I was a little nervous about buying foreign currency in a different way to the way I ve done before The website was easy to use and the bank transfer process was easy enough The cash was delivered on the right day with no fuss I requested small denominations and probably got more larger notes than I d like but its not a big problem and I still got a ok mix of denominations and there was a clear warning that requests couldn t be guaranteed I got a better exchange rate than I would have got locally so overall I m very pleased I d use the company again and would recommend them to other people

Very easy website to use competitive FX rates and the money arrived safely and exactly when I asked for it Only giving 4 stars though as I asked for both currencies in smaller denominations They did that for Euros but not for SFR which was frustrating

Good company to deal with and competitive exchange rates offered My only complaint is that we got very high UAE denomination currency and it might be tricky for us to spend during our brief visit as I really wanted small bites for tipping Conversely our euros and SARands were all in small denominations which was perfect

Best exchange rate

The best exchange rate for euros of the currency companies listed on MoneySavingExpert Received timely emails confirming the order and that it had been dispatched The money arrived within two days I ordered after 12 noon so next day delivery was not an option The only problem was that the minimum currency order is 300 which was more Euros than I wanted This could have been made clearer earlier in the transaction

The exchange rate is very good and I would have given 5 stars but my purchase did not arrive as stated by 1PM next day In fact it did not arrive until the following day and when I checked the tracking nothing happened from Thursday evening until Saturday morning This seemed to be the Post Office s fault as the money was sent out in good time

Used before and always excellent service however on this occasion lost one star as delivery arrived late I selected a specific day as I knew I would be home But then received an email later saying the delivery would now be a day later In fact it had to be 2 days later as I was already committed to being out the following day so missed the post no was redelivered a 3rd day

Just transferred 3 payments into USD to RSA act and all worked well Web site easy to negotiate rates pretty good although I think just beaten by Wise although there was an extra Wise charge to be added due to the nature of the transfer good emails form CC advising of when they received and made payments

Ease of access and communication once I had placed order I m taking off a star as there was a gap in hearing my order was a success and I had to chase up confirmation The Currency club took on board my request for low denominational notes and delivery was swift and totally stackable I was very pleased with the exchange rate and the lack of red tape involved Will definitely use The Currency Club again as a quick reliable and hassle free way to get holiday cash exchanged

I would have given 5 had it not been

I would have given 5 had it not been for the following - I had requested a mixture of notes but the lowest value I received was 500 when there are 100 50 and 20 notes Some of the notes were quite old and a couple were torn Also which is outside of The Currency Clubs control delivery was guaranteed by 1 pm but transaction was received at over 3 hours late at 4 05 pm Will probably use again but would request lower denomination notes
