Extremely Disappointing Experience - Lost My Money

This was my first time ordering from The Currency Club and it has been a complete disaster Despite the tracking information clearly showing that my delivery was not received I was told to wait for up to 25 days due to their terms and conditions In the meantime I m left out of pocket and now forced to source currency from elsewhere They ve failed to deliver on both the product and customer service I won t be using their services again

Currency not delivered no refund so far Never again

Purchased currency from this company It was not delivered and there were no delivery upstairs on tracking link Contacted Currency Club for refund and told I must wait until Royal Mail investigation is completed this could take up to 25 days It has since been 25 days I have been on holiday with currency successfully ordered from elsewhere and apparently the Royal Mail investigation has not progressed Still chasing refund from Currency Club Disgusting service to hold the customer s money ransom while dealing with issue with their chosen courier leaving people with young children in financial hardship at this time of year and in current economic climste

ScamThe mail I have received today demonstrate lack of personal commitment You took extra payment to guarantee delivery and now I have an e-mail from post office that is not sure that the money will be delivered tomorrow Hope to have some money at the end and you are not another scam company snot impressed

Have always found Currency Club Sterling FX easy to deal with and good service but have never before had to return unused currency Don t be fooled by their indicative rate which is nowhere near indicative Found actual rate over 10 lower Difference in purchase and actual buy back rates on the day were 25

Absolutely atrocious customer service

Absolutely atrocious customer service Ordered 1000 USD and requested small notes specifically asked for no 100 notes Was sent 7 x 100 dollar bills and some smaller notes They were inflexible to find a solution and would not help

Perfectly ok company until there is a problem I have used currency club a number of times for my foreign currency the reason I have used them a few times the orders arrived when they were supposed to My latest order however was a guaranteed delivery by 1pm today still haven t got my money yet What s worse is the poor customer service when I tried to contact someone to hopefully alleviate the panic mode I went into wondering where my cash was You ring them they didn t answer the phone you email them they haven t responded Even though they tell you to email them if you haven t received your order when you should have I instead had to spend over 30 minutes on hold to speak to Royal Mail to ask where my money order was apparently they are sorry it hasn t turned up hopefully tomorrow Yes this is the first time it s gone wrong when using CC but will I be happy using them again knowing I cannot get a response from them when it doesn t go smoothly I guess I have just got to hope my order turns up I m not going to get any help from CC regarding my missing money am I

Not as competitive as first thought

I have used Currency Club for many years and have always been satisfied with the service However on this occasion I am extremely disappointed I ordered Euros via Currency Club website directly Immediately after my transaction I went on a comparison website and noticed Currency Clubs euros rate was a lot more favourable than advertised on their website I was obviously shocked as I thought the rates would be the same I contacted Currency Clubs about this anomaly and received the following response We can confirm that our rates presented as per our website will differ from the rate presented as per comparison websites as we compete against the market This has come as quite a shock I always thought that Currency Club would always offer the most competitive rate Clearly this is NOT the case After many years of patronage this episode has left a rather sour taste and I feel literally short changed by these interesting business practices Make your own mind up folks

I have used previously with no problems This time I required currency issued after a certain date I contacted currency club who confirmed they could do this However once the currency arrived there were a number of notes issued before date requested I contacted currency club but am yet to receive any response Unfortunately other reviews seem to be correct they are perfectly fine until there is a problem

System Glitched and lost my order

They appear to have lost my money - Brought some s on line and received no acknowledgment - Money has now left my account and when I called they had no trace of it and asked me to send a screen shot of my bank account - Update They are refunding my money and customer service dealt with the issue promptly however their systems carry a glitch and I won t be using them again for what should be a simple transaction hat has failed
