I ordered 400 of currency and it was dispatched but on day 1 got stuck somewhere with Royal Mail I m now waiting for Royal Mail to conduct an investigation which could take 25 days apparently and in that time I will have gone on holiday and am out of pocket Currency club can see it hasn t arrived with me so they should send out a new order and deal with Royal Mail as it s their issue Very irritating Wouldn t order again Just use post office and collect

I needed to Change 2 5k into Euros to pay workers refurbishing my Italian home After accepting the cash Currency Club wanted me to send Copy of italian house deeds Copy of Italian buiders merchants invoices 3 months bank statements Copy of passport Copy of driving licence Copy of travel tickets and evidence of where money came from If i did not want to proceed they would charge a 50 admin fee to return my money Scandalous

I d rate 0 stars if I could Ordered currency for a Saturday almost a week in advance paid the extra fees for this Didn t arrive royal mail hasn t updated any tracking pretty much trying to get out of giving me and my partner a refund Now have to buy a second lot of currency in a rush with worse rates because they ve left us in limbo I will be getting a refund one way or another and never using this company again I warn anyone trying to get currency through this company to be aware you might be buying 2 lots of currency and not gettint much help provided in the way of a refund from them Quick to take your money standard really

Currency didn t arrive on time - no response to queries

Ordered currency it didn t arrive on agreed date I contacted to query I m still waiting a response I had to leave go on holiday without the order Awful service but I suppose they got payment so why worry Service communication before order placed top notch I couldn t fault They responded to emails queries straight away It s just a shame they don t provide the same level of service after orders are placed

Very disappointed

Very disappointed Used this site because of a reccomendation on Martin Lewis Moneysavingsexpert Was promised a delivery of 1st June was then told a delivery would take place on the 2nd Today the 3rd Royal Mail still shows the money in Transit Currency Club say that they require more than 30 days to investigate the matter They ve opened an inquiry Obviously as they have the money they aren t making a loss so why rush No offer of a refund What happened to Cutomer Service

Horrible experience

I sent 3000 Dollars and they too 400 Dollars and only exchanged 2600 They confirmed the envelope was not tampered However they denied to send the CCTV recording I have shared proof of the weight of the envelope and they said we do not consider weight as part of our process Horrible experience Already complaint was closed I have taken my case to the Financial Onbudsman

Disgrace of a business Shocking customer care Failed to deliver my Euros next day Contact number on website is all pre-recorded drivel pushing you to email them I still haven t had a response to my escalation email as instructed by the pre-record guidance Only email I ve had from this sham of a business is a thank you for choosing them and a request to leave a review Painful experience - zero empathy from the utterly useless gentleman I did speak to eventually Was told by him to read their T s and C s Talentless No accountability Brutal customer support which suitably reflects The Currency Club s complete failure on all fronts

Not next day delivery and poor service

Purchased foreign currency with guaranteed next day delivery Was not delivered next day Was rescheduled for the following day so I had to cancel plans to stay home for the delivery I politely asked for a refund of the delivery cost but this was refused with The Currency Club making bizarre excuses about a charge for coming from a price comparison website when the invoice clearly states it was a delivery charge It appears they do not care about their customer service so I will not be using them again

Absolutely dreadful service

Absolutely dreadful service Whatever system they use to verify you doesn t work you can t change your address easily and they don t offer a phone service for travel money So you have to email them and wait for a reply which takes however many working days and is the last thing you want to do when getting ready for your holiday I just want to give someone money and get holiday currency back Why is that so painfully hard Recommended on Martin Lewis but honestly not worth the hassle just pay extra somewhere else that does want your money
