Please avoid at all costs

Please avoid at all costs- I was informed by Time for You that my regular cleaner was leaving this company and as i didn t want just anyone in my home I cancelled my service served my notice and paid the required fees Now i have been informed by Time for You that they have been watching my house on multiple occasions- making me feel very unsafe and intimidating bulling me Please please avoid at all costs

We had a terrible cleaner assigned to us and were talked into having her again We are busy people and thought we were engaging a professional and morally responsible organisation After a final second clean today which was the worst clean we have ever had we are now told that the any net amount from the 150 retainer that is charged at contract start will not be refunded to us What about the cooling off period I m send the contract to a contract lawyer friend to look at I m tired of this kind of sludge operation scamming hard working folk Don t think these people are providing any kind of a reliable solution

Oh boy Avoid if not for the shoddiness of this company s attitude or standard of work because they will try to stiff you out of of your 2 week cooling off period We re currently speaking to a solicitor to get these chancers off our back Awful company

This relates to Greater Belfast Time for You Terrible dodgy and unethical company Once you sign a contract they say you have forfeited your statutory 14-day cooling off period They then send a cleaner that they clearly don t care is useless cleaned less than half the house and tell you that you cannot break your contract without paying a large financial penalty I ended up paying total of 103 for a two hour clean where the cleaner was late and cleaned less than half my house The manager responded to my valid complaint with a borderline hysterical essay-length email completely unwilling and unable to accept valid criticisms The company then threatened to take me to court to obtain a cancellation charge Dreadful company pretty much a scam Avoid

Terrible Service

I discussed the requirements with Pat over the phone My brief was not passed on to the cleaner as my instructions were ignored The cleaning was not complete to a satisfactory level I paid for six hours and only three rooms were cleaned and not very well My complaint has also been ignored and no refund given or resolution reached at all I paid 150 for basically nothing then had to pay another company to actually do the job Terrible service

Only had my house cleaned once in a two month period At first I was happy with first clean but after a little more inspection simple things weren t done like hovering behind doors I cancelled my contract with them after multiple excuses why the cleaner couldn t come Manager is professional answers emails and is apologetic but their cleaners are totally unreliable Trying to reorganise a clean when they cancelled the cleaner would just ignore me and this is the way the company want you to organise and rebook cleaners so just became a massive pain in the neck

Liars

I would give zero stars if it was possible Stay away from these liar and deceptive people It wasn t explicitly mentioned during our face to face meeting with their representative or on phone call that we d need to pay 50 admin fees if we don t go ahead with the service after signing the contract and it was said that us signing the contract did not bind us for any payments unless we confirm to proceed after meeting the cleaner None of thier emails before setting up the direct debit have any mention of this charge it was only after we asked to put it on hold this charge was mentioned The only clause mentioned was that we need to give a 1 month notice once the service starts They have clearly taken advantage of the fact that no one reads through the long T C text and have kept hidden charges in the contract I have proof our conversation with their representative on our cctv camera and all email trails I will definitely take this to consumer court so that others don t suffer at the hands of these pilferers

Be very clear about the cancelation fee contract section before you agree to sign

I write on behalf of my 87 year old mother My mother arranged to be visited to discuss her cleaner needs and had everything very positively explained to her during the visit The breakdown of costs the agents fees for every visit and the quality of cleaning were all explained and backed up by a lovely glossy brochure As with all doorstep contracts my mother had a 14 day cooling off period to cancel the contract as per trading standards regulations The next day she decided to cancel and within a few minutes of emailing this instruction a 50 cancelation fee was taken from her account with an explanation that this was in accordance with sections 10 5 and 10 5 1 of the contract This was not explained to my mother at any point she has very good recall To include a section within a contract that is cancellable within 14 days that says you can t cancel without a fee reminds me of the hard sell double glazing and timeshare salesmen of the 80 s and 90 s It appears this is to cover the cost of the representative travelling to secure the contract and just doesn t appear at all ethical when it wasn t explained at any point to my mother Shame on you Sean Having read the detailed response I still maintain that the cancelation fee clause was not made clear enough to be understood and stand by my review as a caution to other potential customers

South Manchester Timeline 17 1 25 - 130 upfront26 1 25 - 62 5 Cleaner 1 another review for another day 01 02 25 - 25 Cleaner 2 reviewed here Cost of cleaning supplies not added as can be reused 02 02 25 - Threats of legal action for talking about my experience 03 02 25 - Refutes my claim of threats of legal action Text messages available to confirm my account See below The value of your out of pocket cost would appear to be a lie as well You have received the service you paid for you are just unhappy with it Signed up recently with them Have had 2 different cleaners and paid them on the day Here s an account of what happened with the second cleaner Planned today s cleaning in advance from 13 00 to 15 00 Hoovering and light dusting - 2 bedrooms 1 5 toilet and open plan lounge that needed mopping kitchen top needed a wipe Please keep in mind they had sent a cleaner in the week before so you d expect this to be done in 2 hours or Atleast have her finish one floor Atleast Planned arrival at 13 00 Arrived at 14 03 Only told me she was running late after I made contact at 13 15 I rearranged my evening plans so we can get the work done Spent 9 mins showing her everything I needed doing Started on upstairs toilet at 14 12 and finished it at 15 08 Claims she hoovered my room the corridor and my daughter s room Yet somehow my shelves are still dusty and there are bits of paper hairpins on the carpet that was supposedly hoovered by two of their cleaners a week apart Left at 16 00 as planned for 2 hours Only area clean one bathroom Direct payment to cleaner 25 for one bathroom -
