Best train ever

Hi I had my first journey on TPE this morning Although only a small distance from getting on board and being welcomed by a member of staff to leaving the train nothing but comfort Ten out of ten for everything - including announcer seating and space That was just a taster and I can t wait to ride TPE again next Friday to see my friend Just a suggestion for the advert theme tune though it s a beautiful train which I call Bluey so why not have an upbeat beautiful song to go with it such as Long train running sung by the Doobie Brothers

I don t understand the bad reviews for tp express I use them frequently and always find the staff pleasant polite and helpful During the covid pandemic I have had to change my travel plans several times and each time I have had a prompt refund even on advance tickets that are normally non refundable Of all the train companies that I use I find them the best

Conductor was Fantastic

I travelled on the Haymarket to Manchester Airport train today and the conductor between Haymarket and Lancaster made my day he was extremely friendly and the tannoy announcements were full of energy and jokes and it was one of those little things that make you smile he seems like someone who truly enjoys his work I forgot his name but I hope he is appreciated

Would like to give a massive shout out to Alan from customer services at Hull Paragon station who found my sons lost disability train pass his understanding and knowledge of someone with Autism is outstanding and he should advocate his knowledge with all staff His understanding of how an Autistic person could react from losing his pass is commendable He went above and beyond and sent me a really lovely e mail Thank you Alan

Golly gosh I really don t know where to start with this review I did something rather silly with my case halfway through my journey i will absolutely have to cut this review short as it will become a book i will start with Kevin the amazing manager from Cleethorpes you really are so so kind thank you so very much for getting me to Cleethorpes and my case back in my safe hands thank you so very much to your son who actually got the case from the train I was supposed to be on I collected at Cleethorpes I allso need to thank Kevin staff I am sorry I don t have all your name s but don t think you will ever forget me Jeanette lol you all know who are your just kicked in and was absolutely fantastic thank you so very much from my heart I been travelling for years now but I will never forget you all how you got my journey back on track forever getting to you all see you all soon Jeanette

genuinely lovely staff proper enthusiastic and bubbly about their job and i even got a free upgrade to first class cause they were concerned that i was a solo traveller as a young woman late at night my favourite train service and it s a genuine rarity to have a good service like TPE kicking about nowadays

We caught the 11am from Scarborough to Bridlington and the guard Roy on board was very helpful from beginning of the journey to the other end he helped with partner who is a wheelchair user he is a credit to the company
