I recently graduated with a BS in Cybersecurity I enjoyed the classes and working with the instructors and my mentors It would be nice if WGU offered part-time college along with the current full-time offering This would help when the students work load is already high

The number one advantage with WGU is the ability to take one class at a time This allows you to have a job a family and still make progress towards a degree The mentors are key to helping pass the classes Don t overlook them and definitely tap into the resources that WGU offers It will make a degree so much easier to attain than doing everything on your own

Going through WGU to complete my BSN was a great experience I liked the fact that I could go at my own pace and didn t have weekly deadlines because some weeks I had more time to devote to my studies than others and I always finished way before the semester ended

My experience at WGU is unforgettable I was able to reach goals I had previously put on hold due to family challenges Traditional universities only offer classes at certain hours of the day and on certain days WGU has your back if traditional is not a schedule you can stick to You can complete your classes on your schedule and schedule appointments for office hours when you are available I have now achieved step one of my dream I look forward to returning and getting my Masters soon

Too busy for school Think again

I was able to complete my bachelor s degree even though I had a full-time job was a full-time mom and lived 1 5 hours away from the nearest college campus There were other online schooling opportunities but I loved the idea that I could move on after proving competency only had to work on one class at a time and class attendance wasn t required WGU s flat-rate tuition and the ability to fast-track the program saved me a ton of money I completed my 4-year program in 2 5 years and continued on to complete my graduate degree in 9 months

WGU was extremely supportive of my masters experience My advisor was very encouraging and guided me over intimidating humps especially as a new student The instructions for papers and projects were extremely clear and the IT support for exams was excellent The Capstone project was an incredible experience and really showed me areas I find interesting that I wasn t aware of I was also very appreciative that creating a professional resume and online presence was part of my final class
