I am going to give a long assessment

I am going to give a long assessment because the WGU person critiqued my last review so here is another one star review First of all this school is on par with like University of Phoenix What is wrong with the school I will make a list for everyone 1- Administration is arrogant My mentor was good but over a misunderstanding on an email which was not meant to be sent to her she sends it in to the faculty so I will get disciplined Rather than sit through your Salem Witch trial Expulsion I am going to transfer to a GOOD UNIVERSITY PURDUE 2 for my program WGU does not give out letter grades only pass fail- how can you evaluate a transcript this way 3 looks like their school commercials are made by someone who just graduated from film school and got their first gig 4 the only time WGU cares about you is when you are applying 5 They think they are on par with Harvard and Stanford but in reality they are on par with University of Phoenix and GCU Both schools are being investigated for FRAUD WGU has wasted two years of my life Even my adviser could have been somewhat sympathetic and said I am sorry that you are getting kicked out rather I get a 15 minute JUDGEMENTAL LECTURE from her Screw followed by YOU WG POOP

WGU was a horrible experience

WGU was a horrible experience Nothing on their website was accurate They definitely try to prolong you staying in the wrong so you pay more money for tuition The instructors are clueless don t help The mentors are pretty clueless useless Overall just a horrible waste of time money I m also very shocked at the ratings because on other websites their ratings are very low negative They also have a bunch of bot reviews on Facebook to help hide the negative reviews Be very wary with WGU

Clinical placement was quite messy

Clinical placement was quite messy my professors were changed with no notice felt like I had to jump through too many hoops to finish I was approved for my clinical placement for months then when the time came I was told it wouldn t work that should have been figured out before hand and felt like a grab at my money to put me into another term This is advertised as a low cost school but they waiting till the day after my term ended to approve my placement putting me into another term I felt like I really could have finished in 6 months but then lost all motivation when I had to pay a prorated additional term which was pretty close to a normal term due to no other classes being approved which was frustrating There was not enough guidance on anything even the school didn t know what was going on more than half the time My mentor was awesome though so here is one star

If you succeed better when left alone avoid this place

My review is exactly like Tiffany s Not only do they reject most or all credits from other schools they don t respect personal space Opting out of communication means nothing You will get nagged constantly by their mentors which for someone like me actually hurt my progress tremendously I do much better and are more efficient when left alone I ended up leaving WGU because of this They also have a habit of trying to flood sites with fake reviews instead of addressing concerns

I have only been in this school for a

I have only been in this school for a short 2 months and I have been left to feel nothing but incompetent I have been told that maybe it just wasn t the right time and you need to work faster I chose this school because it was at pace and being that I had been out of college for 17 years and things have changed so much I have run into challenges but I have worked through them I am also a mom of 2 and I live in Germany with my husband who is in the service so I tend to have to work with all of their schedules along with mine I have also found that a lot of the courses that I am enrolled in are centered around a teaching certificate which is not something that I am doing so it is making it a bit more difficult to find the right answers I do feel like this school makes me feel like I am not worth the time and because I am older education is not as important

3 days to do a class

They put me in the wrong version of a course and didn t catch it until I had completely finished the class I still needed the class but they wouldn t grade what I turned in and said I had to redo everything for the new version This was at the end of my term To make up for it they requested an extension I was told on the 4th that I was approved for a 7 day extension to do everything However the extension started on the 1st So I did a whole class I didn t need at no fault of my own and I effectively have 3 days to completely redo it

Went here for one semester and it was

Went here for one semester and it was the worst semester of school I have ever had Business department is a joke Would not be surprised if they loose their accreditation My first semester I never got past the first class Human Resources because they set you up to fail Over 70 of the class I would find out could not pass the class because all the material they gave you for the class was based on opinion Not on the book After you failed the 2nd attempt you had do three 1 hour talking points with a professor Where you explained to them how the class worked Maybe we wouldn t have had to do this if they explained to us how the class worked to begin with without opinions this wouldn t be an issue After myself and the rest of the class spoke up about this they decided to not offer the class anyone but did not give any good options besides start on another class because even if we passed the class we wouldn t be able to use it for our degree Also they regularly change degree requirements and you will have to take extra classes to be able to graduate Don t let WGU scam you too
