Disappointed

We were very disappointed that when we arrived at jet parks 1 we were told at the barrier that we had to park at midstay 3 as jet parks 1 would be closed on our return This meant no bus transfer for our elderly parents aged 75 81 85 and we had to walk from mid-stay 3 to the airport Whilst this wasn t a massive walk it was challenging for 3 elderly People each with a case Mobility issues was the reason why we chose to book Jet park 1 in the first place because we knew we needed the bus transfer door to door

Bus stop now too far from terminal building

No problem with the car park - but the bus stop is now very far from terminal building My wife has mobility problems and getting from bus drop off point to terminal was too far for her to walk comfortably Bus stop used be directly outside terminal building On return it was easier has my wife had wheelchair assist I m afraid I will not be able to use car park in future

Luton Airparks a game of 2 halves

Luton Airparks outbound great inbound poor 25 minute wait having just missed the clearly visible parked but not accessible shuttle bus Luton airport bus parking appears to be electronically controlled so may be outside of Aiparks control but this should be made clear on the booking site Exit from the car park was also stressful as the car in front was not able to raise the barrier without getting out of the car In haste the driver had not applied the handbrake and his car rolled back towards ours due to incline At least it gave the passing employees a laugh

Premiair carpark Edinburgh

Used Premiair car park at Edinburgh airport via Airparks No issues with booking process or price However was slightly disappointed by Premiair Firstly very long wait for shuttle bus to terminal 20-30 minutes On exit very poor signage to exit and one of exit barriers closed when we found it

Meet Greet at Manchester where your internal controls will be fiddled with

I have used Meet Greet at Manchester Airport alot over the past 10 years Always friendly and helpful but why does somebody enjoy always leave my Heated seat switched on and feel the need to switch off my temperature control system every time i leave the car with yourselves It does not matter if it is winter or summer they do this every time and it is getting annoying now

Vauxhall way self park - Luton

Booking was easy communication was excellent Parking in tight bays was ok hopefully the drivers parking adjacent will be as considerate The only downside is the lack of assistance with luggage The minibus used is great within the cabin however the rear luggage area has a high and wide lip into a deep hold which could be problematic for some and the drivers do not assist only opening the doors and leaving you load yourself You are also hopeful that other passengers are mindful when stacking loading their bags etc

Better Signage

Took a while to find the place but could be easily be rectified if there was more signage to car parking area The signage as you approach says Skyport and also the bus stop at the airport It was Airparks I booked with As it is the same car parking area clearer signage would help Bus drivers transporting to from airport were very nice and helpful Exiting the car park wasn t straightforward either Alot of uneven ground but again more signage of the exit would help Code for barrier to go up didn t work at first not sure why but eventually it did

Technical Hitch on Exit

Not sure what happened but on exit the system demanded another 240 I contacted the operator who let us out Obviously a technical hitch Would use again easy to find a parking place and reasonable price

Arrived at Birmingham airport gateman

Arrived at Birmingham airport gateman was very good less said for the bus pick up Lots of people standing not much luggage put away Bus driver said he was full most people standing not very safe we were that crowded when we arrived the doors bashed into my partner she was not impressed return was a better driver but not in our car park instructions were vague Not a easy experience

On arrival the check in was very quick yes

On arrival the check in was very quick and professional on pick up it was shambolic there was a lot of people waiting 2 buses came and were for only blue ticket holders buses left empty the temperature was 3 degrees and had to wait a good 20- 25 minutes when the bus did turn up the driver was rude and arrogant very disappointed the staff need to learn some people skills
