Lack of written confirmation and reminder

When I arranged the service contract mid July I was given a date for the service of the 30th July over the phone It would have been good to get email confirmation so I could add to diary and I would have been good to get a reminder as other companies tend to do I had to phone your help desk on the day for confirmation that it was still going to happen Thanks Gary

Booking a visit is a very frustrating

Booking a visit is a very frustrating process I made repeated calls to book but the scheduling team never called back to confirm a date I even had one visit when the engineer never arrived as he had COVID but no one had informed me I was only trying to book a service for which I pay a monthly subscription Call centre staff are always polite helpful and engineers are always very good however the booking process is terrible

Excellent Service

I reported the fault on a Thursday but an Engineer did not arrive until the following Tuesday However I did understand that we were having probably the coldest spell of the winter and they were very busy The Engineer called me before 8 30 in the morning and he arrived before 9am He solved the problem and once again I was very happy with the service provided by Alpha Thank you

3rd year annual boiler service with

3rd year annual boiler service with Alpha 1st year the engineer was fantastic second year the engineer was the most miserable person I ve ever met the fella we had today our third visit was brilliant Good improvement on your booking system as before you were a nightmare to get hold of on the phone

Quick Efficient Visit

My appointment was cancelled at the last minute after I took time off work This also happened last year- so annoying The actual visit was friendly quick very professional

The boiler seems fine and the engineer

The boiler seems fine and the engineer was polite and - I hope - thorough What I resent is not knowing the time of arrival until 10 or 15 minutes before I had had to cancel appointments and totally reorganise my day Because he had to return today having found a slight problem with the gas pressure that the gas board had to fix before the job could be completed 6 weeks ago two days have been completely disrupted

Boiler Serviced

Boiler Serviced - No other part of the system checked This is a new house so we were not given andy documentation on the boiler The service engineer said he would organise for the documentation pack and servicing readings to be forwarded I have requested the same by email and phone and a month later have received nothing Not impressed with the customer service team at Alpha Boilers

Confused

He wasn t very happy He was rushing because he was late about 40 minutes and did not call me to say he is going to be late All appointments take 15 minutes He just test the boiler noting else Last year s appointments take more than 60 minutes he checked all wall sockets and electric This time l am confused

Adey the engineer was excellent as always However the service was due in October couldn t get booked in until 13 11 Waited but nobody turned up Phone Alfa to be told booking had been cancelled by the system Had to rebook hence didn t get boiler serviced until 2 12 Room for improvement

Regular servicing is a good idea

The engineer was very professional and thorough unfortunately I had to take the whole day of work and my appointment was his last whereby he showed up at 16 30 A complete waste of a day for me Give him credit he did say he was arriving between 3 and 4 but still a bit annoying for me as I got that information around midday
