I ordered a product in January and it was quoted two weeks delivery I had never purchased from Andertons before but they advertised a delivery on the item quicker than any other site foreshadowing I in good faith ordered it and have only received the parcel in the last weekWhen I have spoken to customer support they have been amazing but I ve had to ring to get any update during this time I was left out of the loop on what was happening which didn t feel greatThe product is as described but has a scuff on it out of the box with all the trouble getting it I don t want to even think about returning and getting another oneI feel a bit cheated as I only went with Andertons due to the delivery dates they stated but in reality it was much much longer in line with sites that had the item for cheaperIt was my first experience with Andertons and I just feel other sites give better care to their customers so probably won t shop with them again

I ordered a 1 2m mini jack to phono cable I was sent a 1m cable I politely asked for the correct cable to be sent and a means of returning the 1m cable I was asked if I d actually measured the cable from end to end How they thought that a phono and a mini jack could add up to 20cm is beyond me - it seemed to be a very bad case of mansplaining New cable of adequate length has now been delivered - many thanks

I bought a Gibson Les Paul Classic from Andertons When I was in the store trying out guitars everyone was extremely helpful and accommodating great experience I then bought the guitar online and when it arived it was missing some documents including the one that mentions the guitar s serial number Andertons took no responsibility for the missing documents and that was not ok I had to contact Gibson directly Gibson told me these documents should have been there and were kind enough to send them to me

Ive had few things from Andertons over the years and when an item is actually in stock they are great No issuesHowever there have been multiple occasions when an item is being shown as due in stock on a particular date when this simply isn t the case They take your money and the date just keeps getting pushed back To the point where I ve cancelled and gone elsewhere Shame

i ordered a Grote L1 blueburst flamed maple i think the fire had gone out one my guitarit bears little or no resemblance to the images show at Andertons the frets are good it plays sounds fine there are a few minor finish issues but the real let down is the flame top or lack of it i have had other guitars in this price range all with superior finishes it is the worst so called flame maple i have ever seen i am really dissapointed with the finish on the guitarmaybe i was sent a bad example it may be argued that it is a 200 instrument but this is still a lot of money

The order and delivery all went fine but I had to return my order as it was faulty I was offered a collection at my own cost of 15 which would be reduced if they agreed the fault i e guilty until proved innocent The courier company did not get in touch to confirm the collection and no one came on the designated day to collect I subsequently paid for my own Royal Mail special delivery to return the order Andertons apologised for the failed collection but there s been no further contact about the fault or the return generally and when I checked my card statement the 15 collection charge has been deducted Update Revised rating as the postage charges were refunded and apologised for

Provided great service both times I have dealt with them It s a little poor I had to pay 15 to return an item where other companies would offer free returns however otherwise they were good

Anderton s staff can be friendly and accommodating and they can also be patronising I ve found that no two members of staff give the same answer - especially if you re trying to sell them something for trade or cash It s a very strange shop Lots to choose from but I do wish there was some standardisation amongst staff - so they had a good hold of Anderton s practises Instead it feels like some people make it up as they go along Still usually friendly and helpful wherever possible If I had to hear Teen Spirit as many times as them I d probably be on edge too

Edited to reflect eventual customer services apology and full refund Delays were apparently cause by a technical issue However they don t update their website with stocked vs non stocked items Luck of the draw really if they have stock you might get your item or be waiting weeks before requesting an eventual refund

Andertons are good no doubt However some items are very overpriced I looked at a PRS Mark Tremonti Cab and it was 70 more expensive than other Music Stores The MT15 Amp is also found for 100 50 cheaper I do feel Andertons are taking advantage of their popularity CHECK OTHER STORES FOLKS
