Bought an Ibanez metal guitar wasn t happy didn t look new enough for me also had a chip on one of the horns they exchanged for a more expensive Ibanez metal guitar wasn t happy wood split bottom of headstock on a lesser note scuff at mid rear of body Refund requested and nearly complete Went elsewhere due to loss of confidence I Would not use them again But I give them 4 stars because I love their YouTube channel and I could get through to a customer service person when I phoned and mainly because I am getting a full refund

I purchased a guitar and some effects pedals from Andertons and had them delivered to Australia I found their website worked particularly well and the purchase process was fast and faultless Anderton s pricing was extremely competitive and their interest in me being a happy customer was a refreshing change I appreciated the email contact to let me know the status of my order I d use them again without hesitation

Pretty good to be honest better than most I use another shop by default who are always superb but if they don t have what I need Andertons are my next port of call without hesitation A nice conscientious company in the sector A bit pricey sometimes but also a serious dealer with friendly knowledgable staff Parking is interesting sometimes But my goodness they carry a wide range of equipment and are an honest reliable supplier

Good service and the best price on a particular item I was looking for that was reduced in their spring sale Email updates and tracking and fast delivery Can t ask for more Follow up service could be improved however I found an apparent fault with the item I bought and my reply email was ignored

Thanks to Andertons for handling my recent return with no fuss Only issue was that DPD failed to collect item on the day they stated they would but I can t fault Andertons for that this being a fault on DPD s behalf The staff I spoke to in customer service were really helpful which was appreciated I would recommend Andertons for a good customer service after-sales experience

I ve used Andertons so many times and it s always been spot-on I saw the negative reviews there will always be some but I was happy Until this time I bought a used amp that was described as This item is in good condition showing few signs of use and comes with the original box and power supply It arrived with no original box it was bubble-wrapped and it was scratched and dented with a dent on the front that was scratched back to bare metal Clearly not as described I called and a return was arranged So far despite the very misleading ad it was ok I guess At least they responded and took action I chased this morning a Tuesday as they had received it on the Friday before and it was back up for sale with the original description but I had heard nothing When I asked what was happening I was simply told that the return payment was in a queue and would get returned within the next days but it would take another 3 days or so after processing for it to appear in my account After so many good experiences this happens Based on this experience alone 1 star would be appropriate but all companies suffer the odd hiccup and we need to recognise this Additional Note I received my refund today issue resolved So I ve lifted my review rating because the misleading product description issue unfortunately still stands That said I appreciate that eventually the issue was resolved Please don t look at the team on Youtube and make disparaging remarks about Lee or the others I know Lee tries hard to do a great job for his customers but like any business owner I know from experience that I cannot be everywhere at once and occasionally mistakes will happen or someone will let the side down from time to time A business owner is always accountable but they re not responsible for every mistake Would I use them again Yes

This is more a review of the actual product As soon as I turned it on it was making this horrible hissing sound and the drums started playing on their own So contacted Andertons and they have arranged a next day pick up which is very handy I seem to have a habit of buying items when there s only one or two left in stock I think I m going to stop doing this Bad omen Also don t buy cheap gear just not worth it Also also how the heck do you leave reviews on Feefo Couldn t work it out could only read others

Be aware if you buy stuff on V12 finance and then want to return it I bought an amp foot pedal and amp cover for in excess of 400 and paid over 25 deposit I decided I did not want the foot pedal so asked to return it This was declined as for reasons I still do not comprehend I even paid of the finance in total in less than a week but they still refuse to allow me to return the fully paid for item I ended up sending all the stuff back but to be fair received my money back relatively quickly

I ve had many good transactions with Andertons They are by far one of the better guitar stores operating in the UK but let themselves down this time My Strymon Zuma was DOA Without fuss Anderton s customer support arranged for DPD to bring me a new one and take the old one away Excellent This is exactly why I shop with Andertons Unfortunately DPD didn t turn up For the next three weeks I had to chase Anderton s for updates while they forced me to await the outcome of DPD s investigation When I finally lost patience and threatened to cancel the issue resolved On reading other reviews I see a few strikingly similar experiences Anderton s take note Don t make your customers wait while DPD waste time with Kafkaesque bureaucracy Prioritise your customers deal with DPD separately

Ordered a synth and received conformation only to then not receive the product So i was hitting refresh on my emails like Mark Zuckerberg from the shi y film social network hoping for a responce Long story short the guys had a system issue My only gripe would be to get your next day delivery down and regular email updates were issues are known Other than that the guys are pleasant and do try to resolve most issues
