Instead of up to 20 spring offer only 5 was given

I count with up to 20 spring offer how it was communicated via email and website Unfortunately I did not get this promotion by booking Regarding Hertz it should had been 15 I got 5

Site reservation and email confirmation do not match

Auto Europe corrected the issues described below Thank you The changes I made to my existing reservation are not reflected in the email confirmations I receive - nor in the payments on my credit card When I log into your site and check my reservation it is correct When I look at the email confirmation it is incorrect and does not match the reservation on your site The changes I made reduce the total but that has not been adjusted on my credit card statement

bait-and-switch

Total bait-and-switch The price was quoted at 1 200 but when I selected that option it it said offer no longer available and new price was 1 800 50 higher When I re-started the process the 1 200 price again was shown and again no longer available Why if it was no longer available was it shown again Email confirmation and communication was very good and otherwise web site was clear so I gave 2 starts rather than only one

False information and only prepaid rentals

The site states that a specific rental company is located at the airport when in reality they take you to their offices by shuttle bus Also I don t like the fact that all car bookings have to be fully prepaid when with other search engines you usually only have to pay a small deposit

Poor communication of added fees

There were additional charges to the rental fee when i rental desk which had not been clearly communicated to me Additionally it s not clear who the rental car company car when purchasing nor afterwards I only knew because it had to look online

Misleading results via the airport shuttle filter

I had selected pickup from airport no shuttle But in the final booking from the rental car company is written that I need shuttle to pick up the car

Price increased when logged in

Searched for a car and got a good price and then I logged in and the price increased with 15 Disappointing Being a regular customer should give better prices not worse The response from autoeurope below does not cover what happened to me The only difference was that I logged in and the price immediately went up despite same dates times same car same location same everything seems repeat customers still get worse prices

BROKERS

Booked with Auto Europe specifically for an Airport Pick up car The day before I find that this is an off airport rental very disappointing Let s see how the rest goes definitely not holding my breathThese people are brokers and they use brokers in Tenerife My experience started badly and became progressively worse One day before my travel date I was advised it was off airport pickup having specifically ordered on Airport I gave them my Flt no and arrival time I have a copy of this they advised the Tenerife broker I would be arriving 11 hours earlier I was then told in Tenerife due to my being 11 hours late that my car was no longer available and they offered me another car which cost 500 more At that time of night we had little choice but to accept this compromise On my return I contacted Auto Europe who insisted it was my fault and as a gesture of good faith they would refund half of my original booking of 83m So folks my advice is stay clear of these brokers as I am now having to go through the small claims court to retrieve my monies

Receiving the booking confirmation in writing I noticed that even though I paid the rental in full nevertheless my credit card will be blocked for euro 1 400 I booked full coverage no excess and no deposit I am not happy at all

App booking

Recently the booking through the app on my mobile doesn t work as well as in the past Selection of dates and other options are not taken Eventually I had to make the booking through the website on my PC which instead works very well
