Poor Design Abysmal Support
I purchased an office chair that was on sale Everything arrived in working order but the chair itself was very uncomfortable The arm rests were too low and could not be adjusted but the worst part was the lumbar support being hard plastic and stabs your back instead offer support I started the return a few days later and was told by their support that autonomous does not do returns on sale items So now I have a useless 300 chair that I will end up donating because nobody wants this garbage chair from this trash company

Sexist customer service
My chair from these guys broke spectacularly last week It s under warrantee Their proposed solution was that I get a man to help disassemble the old one with specialized equipment that I don t own So in short their customer service and warrantee are a joke Don t waste your money Edit in response to the below response from the company disassembling a full chair and then reassembling it is way harder than just assembling a new chair Send me a new chair

They won t send me the desk I ordered until I send them my ID But the charge already showed up on my credit card so they already took the money They asked me to upload my ID to verify my credit card but I don t understand why my ID would have anything to do with my credit card So they have my money and won t send my product unless I send them a personal document that is irrelevant to the transaction It goes without saying that I m disputing this charge and having my bank cancel the payment

While the company offers quality products accessing customer support can be a challenging experience When I encountered an issue with one of the desk legs it took weeks to receive a replacement with frustratingly little communication about the status This lack of proactive updates was disappointing On a subsequent occasion the tabletop splintered after just one week of use When I contacted customer support I was initially told that I should have reported the issue within a week However this contradicted the one-year tabletop warranty listed on their website Despite this the initial response was that they had no stock available for replacement It felt like the company was trying to avoid responsibility until I pushed back pointing out their warranty terms and the availability of the product when I initially tried to purchase Eventually they replaced the items but the overall experience left me feeling like customer satisfaction and product quality were not their top priorities

The quality of chair is not worth 450 bucks And the sitting cousion is very uncomfortable as reviewed by other clients The chair may only for bigger size of people not for people under 170cm It didn t have enough lower back suport for me Last I was misleading my advertisement it is 15 days satisfaction garantee But when I return it said discount product didnt qualify for a return Now it was a trash in my house

The build quality of the chair is sub par Things are loose and it already feels like it is going to fall apart I felt better quality in my 89 Amazon basics chair Very disappointed overall Edit They claim to have a free return window but do not honor it if the item was on sale So I am stuck with this chair contrary to the comment below

Refuses to support owners of their products
I bought an autonomous chair from a business that was moving to a work from home model during the pandemic and didn t need their office furniture One of the armrest cushions has started to crack and peel away I reached out to the company - not to see if there was any kind of warranty or to seek some free repair but simply to inquire about purchasing a replacement armrest to replace the one that is failing I was surprised to learn that they refuse to sell replacement parts to anyone who was not the original purchaser of the product This is insane to me as all this does is promote the disposal of furniture that overall still has a lot of life in it Unless this ridiculous policy is changed my business will be going elsewhere

Very good at marketing but when problems occur as they did with the surface of my desktop which has noticeable blemishes they don t respond to any emails
