Very bizarre experience

Very bizarre experience with this company in recent weeks I was looking for an ergo chair for my new work from home setup without breaking the bank One of their chairs looked and sounded like it would fit the bill Emailed them multiple times and left messages for them on the phone multiple times No response I ve since bought a chair elsewhere Business must be pretty good to allow them to completely ignore prospective customers I honestly don t know what to make of it Bizarre

AvoChair arrived on time and was relatively easy to assemble Autonomous continues to reach out regarding leaving a review and receiving a 20 discount- they should be providing such a discount to new customers as I found the chair to be not worth its price point The chair design was also not thought through as the inside portion between the mesh and the plastic back collects dust excessively but cannot be accessed to be cleaned

Very Poor Customer Service

My husband and I bought 2 sets of the standing desk last year it was great until it suddenly stopped working We tried everything before contacting the customer care they have not responded in over 4 months Everyday I use this redundant desk I just feel scammed as I cannot use the feature I bought it for

Not very adjustable

I bought an office chair ErgoChair Pro about 2 yrs ago For a company that seems to pride itself on ergonomics I found this chair to be lacking a lot of common adjustable items and as a result as a 6 ft tall male I found it to be uncomfortable and still do The seat doesn t have a lot of tilt adjustment The back can only pivot but can t be adjusted vertically and as a result the headrest was not useful or functional One thing I do like is that the seat is quite wide and the chair is overall quite solid and feels sturdy The chair I bought is not something I view as a comfortable place to relax but merely a way to be slightly less uncomfortable after work than I would be using a different chair

ok product terrible customer service

Ok product assembly instructions were adequate as well terrible customer service Made an order for a white-frame black-top corner desk and the pieces came just fine albeit on different days with no shoddy tracking for ALL the packages the addon cable tray only comes in gray no color option to pick from the main product does have a cable tray that matches the desk frame white but their customer service says you buy purchase one separately I also can t login using my email addr used to make the order originally since they require work emails only now which is a little pushy

I won t be buying again

I bought a desk from The Netherlands in 2021 The desk is WAAAY too tall in it s smallest setting and for somebody who s 177 cm it s pretty much useless Forcing you to buy the premium desk as soon as you are anywhere around normal height The final price wasn t fully stated and had to pay taxes after the checkout which is illegal to do in the whole EU and wrote them about it The desk predrills weren t in the right spot minor inconvenience I can t recommend this product As I told my family many times get the standing desk from IKEA the only difference with this one is the memory buttons

Good customer service bad product quality

Ordered an ErgoChair Pro and after 3 years a part on the backrest broke The warranty for the chair is only 2 years despite their website saying they offer warranties for up to 7 years intentionally misleading Customer service was quick to respond and created an order to replace the entire backrest at a cost of 140 CAD The chair was purchased for 599 tx To add insult to injury the replacement part is going to take 3 MONTHS to arrive Avoid if possible and buy a chair from more reputable brands especially at this price point

300 Should get you more than a 1 Year Warranty

1 year warranty for a mechanism on a 300 office chair is kind of a joke Support Tech was helpful and friendly though Regular use for 300 home office chair and it didn t even make the 3 year mark Next time better off getting a cheaper chair from Ikea Otherwise love the chair comfy and aesthetically pleasing Just sad the mechanism cant event last more than a couple years Will not be buying any other chairs from Autonomous after my replacement mechanism fails again in another 2 years

order processing is very unclear resulting in my purchase being sent to an old address saved in my Gmail preferences Adding an order review and confirmation screen would be immensely helpful

Very bad customer service

I ve made an order back in December 2020 I ve heard good feedback from friends and decided 450 euro for a good chair might worth it In a few days I ve got an update that my order was ready for shipment Then a month later I ve got another update with an excuse blaming Brexit for the delay Now it s February and I m waiting for my order for more than 3 months The status is still unclear Yeah we can blame Brexit Covid-19 or whatever But other deliveries I ve ordered during this time come promptly so it s definitely something wrong with Autonomous ability to cope with the challenging environment I simply want my money back now Hoping there will be a human on the other end to handle a bank transfer UPD finally received the chai the chair is beautiful but 3 months of waiting still not
