SIPP investments

I have been with Best Invest for a couple of years Access to accounts online is easy I took out a SIPP Best Invest claimed the tax back and invested the monthly amount into a portfolio which I had chosen The markets have been up and down over the past few years and so I expected my funds to go and down accordingly I recently had a meeting with a personal advisor to discuss access to funds and the best option The adviser was very professional understood my financial circumstances and made a number of useful suggestions At the end of the session I understood what course of action I was going to take when the time was right I would recommend Best Invest SIPPS for those paying high tax contributions and who want an additional tax free saving option

Pleased with coaching session

Disappointing experience my coach was let down by Bestinvest failing to provide the value at switch of my funds resulting in me having to do the work each time to make a comparison I spoke to people from operations and client services who said that the only value that could be put in was the Book Value of the funds and suggested I provide this information in other words take it or leave it I requested this information previously 13 07 2021 with no reply Mr Elliott was professional and dealt with my complaint in an excellent helpful manner

It was easy enough to sign up for an account but I am stuck finding enough time to see if their charges are really low The good news is that there is over 4 interest on cash balances but the bad news is that the costs are a web of lists which have to be decoded Its the whole business of they charge whether your investments go up or down

Coaching session

I had a coaching session which David Cullen I would recommend taking advantage of this free service I knew in advance that no specific investment would be recommended in this session however David was helpful in pointing me towards tools on the site and sent a very helpful follow-up email the following day He also highlighted a couple of areas I hadn t thought of There was a very little sell why transfer other ISA or money purchase pensions to them which I d expect from a free consultation and it was certainly not a hard sell

A review of my current investment with Bestinvestssion with Joshua

I had my coaching session with Joshua Herbert on the 13th September He asked me about my concerns with my current Investment with the company I told him I wanted to increase the growth of my portfolio He was very forthcoming on the areas of risks that I needed to consider and whether I was looking at possibly 5-10 years of investment growth He followed up our conversation with an email and gave me some good advice and the areas I needed to look at The only problem is I m having an issue with the website as I can t log in to complete the link to the Questionnaire he sent me

Five stars for Reuben

Five stars for Reuben 2 stars for the BestInvest login process I just could not log in was being taken round in circles by the platform - in the end I rang up and Reuben sorted it out for me Many thanks to him but I wish the platform was better - it did not recognise my client number and email address and thought they did not match Both were correct

Joshua - knowledgable and clear

I found Joshua knowledgable and able to explain options clearly He answered my many questions fully and patiently and followed up with a clear summary of our discussion I gained a lot of understanding of my possible courses of action and recommend his services to anyone needing advice on financial options

Enquiry about Trust Accounts

I had a useful conversation with Joshua Herbert about opening a Trust Account and transferring investments into it He wasn t able to answer my questions fully himself but put me in touch with Rob of the New Business Team who called back a couple of days later to discuss the matter in more depth Both were polite and helpful but I am still awaiting forms and further information

I had a good conversation with David Cullen He was able to explain my options regarding my private pension pot which I have now decided to move to bestinvest I feel reassured that I can contact him again anytime if any doubts or concerns

Coaching session with David David guided me through the different options I could consider for my portfolio He was clear and succinct and I was able to understand better the level of risk I am prepared to take and opt for other investments away from Best Invest whilst the markets are being slow to recover Thank you David
