Enjoyed my coaching session with Gareth Pointed out that currently Best Invest does not alert customers when for instance cash is placed in the SIPP for tax relief and therefore customers might log in several times before realising it has been added Good idea to have an alert facility possibly via email so that time is not wasted in needlessly logging in

David Cullen was very easy to talk to and answered a number of my concerns re CGT and investment ideas managed portfolio despite not being a Bestinvest client yet He followed up as promised with a summary email and further information Very impressed and all for free

Good call with Gareth who was able to

Good call with Gareth who was able to clarify a couple of things and explain what was on offer from Bestinvest Not sure I would switch to them as I am moving more towards a low fee tracker type portfolio and other platforms have lower or minimal fees which are perhaps more suited to my needs

Free initial meeting

We had a 45 minute free meeting with a Best Invest adviser that was useful and helped us decide the next steps Our current investments are readily available on line to monitor Bestinvest are always willing to discuss issues when you ring We had not realised that Evelyn Partners are available for a more managed approach and we wish we had been aware of that earlier

Honest opinion

Harry phoned on time and explained the investment process very well With a financial background myself I can understand that the choice of fund and level of risk is all down to me Unfortunately the choice of funds is bewildering and far too much analysis is required by the investor Left feeling that without an insight into the markets it s a shot in the dark when it comes to a decision

I ve been with Best Invest for several

I ve been with Best Invest for several years Recently I utilised their Coaching session The call was pretty useful and provided me with more detail and more things to read before taking my next few financial decisions About a week after the initial call and follow up email with reading materials the coach Charlotte followed up with a call to see if there was anything else she could do

Nothing17 Trying to retrieve cash from investment they say there is a problem they want me to send a photo of my bank account or a blank cheque with void written on it Sound suspicious to me called office was told this was correct COULD not speak to department concerned Recieved same email today Bottom of mail states this email origanated outside of our organisation be extra vigilant

Lydia Ellis was very helpful

Lydia Ellis was very helpful showing me how to move my spare cash into stocks shares It was comforting to know that the cash had benefitted from a good rate of interest Her instructions worked well She also gave me advice about the different managed portfolios and the different levels of risk and also how to invest in individual companies but the associated risks
